I e stopped in several times but in December went with friends to an evening (after normal hours) Geisha tasting event here… interesting experience learning about coffee roasters and sampling geisha style. Tiny but beautiful space, met people drawn to the location from more than an hour away which says something. Love the little window seat nook overlooking River Street. Every cup they put out is a work of art. Inclusive, friendly, have yet to try any of the pastries/smaller bite cafe food but looks yummy. Cute, clean bathroom with the best air freshening scent and I am never a fan of public restrooms.

Wheelchair accessibility: Not sure, it is tight.

Super cozy café in Troy with big front windows that let in lots of natural light. Great spot to relax, chat, or get some work done. They even make their own almond milk! Perfect for coffee, good vibes, and a little quiet time.

Honestly loved this place but I went in today and the coffee was sour. Ive gotten the same latte almost a dozen times and it did not taste that way. I expressed my concern to the barista, and she honestly didnt seem like she wanted try to get to the bottom of the issue. I told her that I get it all of the time and it does not taste like that. She just shrugged. She offered to make me another one in another flavor and same sour taste. Again, I have tried the lattes several times and they did not taste sour so there was obviously something wrong. I just hate to see the quality on the drinks go down because no one is trying to figure out what is causing the difference in tast. The drinks are pretty high so to have throw it out because it taste off is not great.

Our friend picked this place to stop on our road trip and it was too fancy feeling for me personally, but I had to order and try something. Staff was friendly, place was clean and very strictly designed. The menu was simple so people like us had to ask what was in every drink. I eventually decided on the moulin rouge (with a sad looking amount of whip cream) which I could maybe call a spicy white mocha. I liked it, my friend LOVED it, my husband hated it. I tasted my friend’s sweet corn latte and that was delicious. My latte was over $8. So yes ski road trip is over and back to my drip coffees at home lol.

Parking: We parked two blocks away. Dog poop on all the sidewalk snow. Nice.

This is a must do stop every time I visit Troy. It’s certainly the best coffee I’ve ever had in my life and doesn’t need a drop of sugar or cream to be enjoyed. (Espresso or drip) however I always find myself walking out with one of their incredible seasonal lattes, because you can’t get that kind of craftsmanship anywhere else. 11/10 Will always come back if I’m nearby

Crème brûlée latte was good but was served warm not hot. Same thing with the cheese and oregano scone, it was good but was served cold. The vibe of the place is really nice.

It's enough to praise the decor, ambiance, and the truly professional coffee drinks, but what I like most are the people/employees. They are friendly, courteous, and if you chat with them they are happy to get to know you.

Great coffee spot to sip and get work done (best one in Albany region in my opinion)

I wish they had more options for pastries today though

Outstanding coffee shop for folks really into coffee or just looking for a nice cup or specialty drink. Reserve menu is killer and those are available as pour over or AeroPress you love to see it, friends.

Shop is on the smaller side but I’ve never not found a seat and although the line can look long I’ve never waited much; they’re quick!

Sorry for the one not great pic, I wanted to highlight the award for their cold brew. The shop is cute - go and see for yourself!

Obsessed with this place. I grew up in Troy but have since lived in NYC, Miami, LA, and Austin, and it’s by far the best coffee I’ve ever had anywhere. I’ve recently switched from coffee to tea, and was excited to try their matcha latte during my current hometown holiday trip, and it was AMAZING! One of my favorite new traditions whenever I come home to see family.

No visit to this town is complete without making it a stop. Without a doubt, this Troy coffee shop is my favorite. A true treasure is cold brew strawberry milk. Jacob Alejandro's ambiance, which radiates sophistication, is the ideal match for the experience. The space's meticulous attention to detail and lush green accents are my favorites. A vibe, that is all!
