Liza's is one of my favorites for lunch in downtown Troy. The menu has healthy and tasty choices made with fresh ingredients. Service has always been friendly and fast, yet you will not be rushed as you sit and savor the dishes. The owner Liza who has created the menu can usually be found working at the restaurant, making sure you will return again. And I suggest you do return, so you can sample her creativity in the kitchen!
Where is the restroom? How can they serve people coffee and food and offer NO RESTROOM? Terrible. Also, I would like to add my own creamer (preferably half and half or cream) to my coffee. They made it way too light.
Omg...just tried the Farm Salad from Liza's. Wow! This aptly named salad contained everything on the farm! A nice mix of greens on the bottom with sliced apples, cucumber, beets, radish, avocado, and pumpkin seeds throughout and topped with a nice dallop of something equivalent to what you'd find on the buffet table of your favorite holiday gathering (tasted like a dill dip!) The marinated chicken pieces provided just the right amount of tasty protein. It was crave-able....
