This is a cute little cafe with amazing food and delicious Turkish coffee. Me and my mom were looking for a nice breakfast spot and could have not been more pleased. Perfect for savory or sweet breakfast options. We even left with an extra takeout of pastries. Highly recommend!

Adorable place with delicious breakfast and lunch options. I got the borek with spinach and feta and it was delicious. My dad really enjoyed his french toast with fresh fruit. I also highly recommend the Turkish coffee! Will definitely return to try the baklava and other pastries.

Pretty bad, and that’s without considering the price, which is far too much for the low quality. It’s not often you can visually see in the food just how little the people care.First off, the coffee. Weak, off-flavor, and with rinds. That’s horrible for any establishment. Secondly, the French toast is something I could make at home with little effort. With trash syrup and little butter offered, not much could be done to improve this. The sad egg, with a slice of cheese barely melted on top was also a strange taste and texture. Again, small portions make this a terrible offer. Finally the bacon…? Or whatever that is. It’s not good. It’s much like a band-aid in every respect.I know this is Albany, and the clientele isn’t exactly wanting of anything resembling good food, but Mumu’s is PooPoo by any standard. You’ll find better food in the dumpster next to the city mission.

We sat down to eat and enjoyed a unique breakfast experience. Everything cooked during a very short wait, good coffee, friendly people in a tucked in neighborhood cafe. The ambience was comfortable.
Very cute place. Very limited seating but the croissants were good and they have Turkish coffee which is my fav and I rarely see it on menus.

My wife and I came here for brunch after we finished shoveling ourselves out from a recent snowstorm. I ordered a chicken panini and my wife ordered a turkey wrap. My panini was good but they definitely skimped. There wasn't a lot of meat, red pepper or pesto in the panini. It was also incredibly dry! My wife said her wrap was good but they also skimped on it. There wasn't much food when she looked inside the wrap. Very small seating area. Only room for 6 people max which is not ideal for a cafe. Since we came during a snowstorm there was only one other person there eating. For this reason I was very surprised by the long wait time. They also didn't have many drink options at all. I'm curious as to why they call themselves a cafe. The gentleman working the counter was friendly! I must admit the prices were very reasonable. It's not really possible to spend a lot of money here. Everything on the menu is very inexpensive. That's the saving grace for Mumu's Cafe.

We had a wonderful breakfast at Mumu's this morning! The service was fantastic- the owner's were kind and welcoming and the food was AWESOME! The decorations are delightful- a positive experience all around. And the food was so fresh and tasty- We can't wait to go back!

Super kind workers and the food is amazing!! I’ve eaten the Mum Breakfast Wrap for the past three days in a row because it’s just that good. Definitely making this a weekly destination.
