If I ever move back to NY state it'll be a comfort to know that nightspots doing something interesting and keeping Troy weird despite the best efforts of developers are still a thing in the Capital District.

Very unassuming night club. I felt like I was in some underground NYC club. Will go back again

This is a great venue to see live music. My son's band played there last night, and we were happy to see that this is a place with a great open space/stage for a band to play and get a good crowd. Nice beer list, the house white wine was Pinot grigio (which made my wife happy), nice menu of snacks, including Nathan's hot dogs (glizzies), and......and......Saranac root beer on tap. Good stuff. All the staff was friendly. Definitely looking forward to going to another show at No Fun in Troy. Recommended!

At no fun I've seen local avant garde comedy, new wave industrial goth, blistering blue grass, violin loop epics reminiscent of a scene from eyes wide shut. I've seen astrology disco parties(with a rotating astrological themes and costumes), I've seen local thrash metal bands cutting their teeth, I've seen anime bimbo parties(exactly how it sounds), I've seen couples two step the night away to straight laced country stylings, I've seen psychedelic rock bands from Japan, a Woodstock 99 cover show(yea, that one), I've seen Zardoz(yea that one), I've had a beer in a quiet space with dear friends. I've seen a band called cumgirl8, one called 'a place to bury strangers', and i've seen the medicine singers hammer rhythms into deer skin drums they tanned themselves. Ive seen afro beat, yung fredo, folk punk, glitch core, butt rock, neu metal, soft folk, blues, soul, funk, and weirdly enough a magician once. I've seen locals take the stage and take the plunge and risk baring their soul before the town. I've seen suuns rise in honey and moons come up in wine. I saw death become of light and life become of fire. I saw it from my hiding place within the quagmire.

GREAT VENUE. Just come on the right night for you. Look up the schedule(theyre active on instagram), listen to the acts, youre guaranteed to find a night fit for you. Tonight I saw Jaws and the crowd was wild.
