I rather liked this place. The food was good and the service was great. My waitress was lovely. They have trivia on Wednesdays. And it's convenient because it's attached to the hotel

A great restaurant located in a hotel. Fast service, respectful wait staff, tasty food. Drinks were fast to be refilled.

I honestly expected much better from this place. We stayed at the reficulously expensive attached hotel and came down to this restaurant due to the sketchy streets after dark.
I ordered the fish and shrimp basket with fries.
The fish basket had ONE piece of fish and a few levees of shrimp. I also ordered their appetizer that was supposed to be mushrooms with cheese which was actually cheese with mushroom pieces. Im not sure which one made me sick but I was sick for two days after eating here. I won't go back to this restaurant.

It is not a sports grill, it is a sports bar. The corporate priority is to serve alcohol. The staff's chief focus is serving drinks, alcohol is 95 percent profit. You will wait a long time for staff to approach your table because the staff is refilling drinks for the existing tables. The staff waits at the bar for the bartender to fill the drinks rather than wait on tables where people want to order food. Once a staff person sees your party is not drinking alcohol, you'll be lucky to see them come back to take your order after you've received your diet coke etc. I understand bars are going to be like that but they are representing themselves as a grill also. The care given to the food preparation is pretty tentative as well. To their credit, they do seem to serve fancy looking, complex looking alcoholic drinks. They're probably time consuming. Come here to drink, go someplace else if you're hungry.

We went in on Sunday with 35 people during early NFL games. We had given them a heads up and the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. The food was very good and the service was outstanding. In addition to the football on TVs, there were games to keep a group of 11 year old boys busy. We’re so glad we found this place.

I’d like to thank & hope RSG mgmt will recognize both servers, Kati & Jazmine, who assisted me w/dietary restrictions, due to a surgery the next day, my overnight stay @ adjacent Hilton. Kati & Jazmine are exceptional! Both, thoughtful & attentive to what I could eat, a very boring bland meal. Bummer, as the menu looks excellent! I noted apps, meals, specials, desserts! With many restrictions, Kati & Jazmine, actually researched what might b my best option. Thank u! Had the salmon, & w/out the seasonings, still a satisfying meal! They let the kitchen know how it was to be cooked, both checking back on me frequently. This same level of stellar service, I watched, given to other diners. Altho busy, Kati & Jazmine, moved effortlessly, never missing a beat w/many tables at hand. I shared this w/RSG’s ‘Catch Me At My Best.’ I do hope they received my accolades. All around, a great place to go, altho large, no high noise level that creates indigestion quite frankly, nor did I see that frantic pace when a restaurant is busy, which creates unconscious stress for the customer. Well done & brava, 5 stars to Kati & Jazmine!!

Tuesday specials include Margaritas (meh) and a 2 Tacos for $6. Service was excellent, making very good suggestions and information about entrees. By the way, their Medium sauce for the Chicken Tenders and Wings is Hot enough for Me, making Me wonder how much Hot sauce would drive someone to tears.

The service was great ! I appreciated the waitresses kindness and willing to settle us in promptly as we arrived . The food is another story unfortunately. I had the traditional wings and sweet potato fries , food that’s ‘safe’ to order if you will. The worst wings I’ve ever had . They were not hot and were very flabby and dull. As for the fries they were OK. I’ve never had sweet potato fries with sugar on them . I don’t know if that’s the norm but I was not a fan of it . I left very disappointed

I intended to share this review last week, but I was caught up with my daughter's graduation. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed with the service from Mary, the to-go specialist. After a long day of errands and preparing for family visits, my husband and I were eager to grab a meal at Sports Recovery Bar and Grill, a place I used to recommend during my time at Marriott in the East Greenbush area.

Around 9:30 PM, my husband entered the restaurant and asked Mary for a menu, inquiring if they were still serving food. She confirmed they were. After reviewing the menu for about seven minutes, we decided what to order. However, when we called to place our order, Mary informed us that they had stopped serving food at 9:30 PM. This was quite confusing since she had just given us a menu and said it was fine to order.

I insisted on speaking with a manager after Mary reiterated that they stopped taking orders at 9:30 PM, even though we were parked right outside. When I called back, Mary recognized my husband and repeated the same information. After being put on hold, I decided to go inside, only to be greeted again by Mary. I asked her why she had come outside only to place us on hold. She claimed she couldn't find the manager.

To my surprise, the manager eventually walked out of the bathroom while we were still talking to Mary. She was pleasant and clarified that they stop taking orders at 10 PM. This kind of customer service is unacceptable, and it raises concerns about how individuals are treated, particularly people of color.

This was the worst experience I’ve had at Sports Recovery Bar and Grill, and we will not be returning. I want to make it clear that the assistant general manager, Francis, was very helpful in trying to rectify the situation, and there was another waitress who provided excellent service. It’s evident that Mary could learn a lot from her colleagues about delivering quality customer service. I want to also state how the manager needed to tell Mary to step away because she wanted to be argumentative and combative after treating us in this manner.
