For the most part, I would have given this place five stars the food is always been awesome generous portions however service is going down and bad. How I miss those kind employees who are always approachable and wear smiles compared to these folks who are rude and always make us rushed.

Nothing special about it. The tikka masala was mediocre at best and absolutely no spice with no option to add spice. I've never even heard of that with Indian food.

I ordered a chicken tikka masala. It was good but the taste leans to more tomato base taste than average based on my experiences. I meant more sweeter and creamy sauce usually. I gave three stars because of the pricing honesty. The web page says $15.99 and on every table found menu it says the same price. But at the counter, the many dish prices were raised and the tikka masala was $16.99. I didn't like they are not consistent and somewhat I felt this place was dishonest. The inside store is rather outdated and behind the counter was very messy. I'm a little worried about their management and cleanliness overall.

I've been eating here for ten plus years, since I moved to Troy. The food is excellent and the wait staff is attentive and very nice. I always order the palak paneer, salmon Tikka, chicken Tikka masala, naan, and kheer. It's very quality food and decent portions.

We order catering from Shalimar a lot where I work, and the food is always hot and delicious. The man who delivers the caterings (I think is the owner) is very timely and hospitable. I, personally, also live in Troy and order take out often. 10/10 definitely recommend!
