I think I saw a sign that said this is their 72nd season - it shows! The ice cream is delicious and the service is superb. Truly great spot!
yes there good like the soft serve
The grasshopper sundae was amazzzziiinnnggggg!!!!
Haven’t been here in over 6 years (moved out of state) and was pleasantly surprised. The prices are literally the same from years ago, which is nice. For what I got- I was shocked when she only said $5.25. I’m like- “oh?” Lol so that’s exciting. In NJ, ice cream is sort of overpriced so that was refreshing. And the Sundae tasted amazing!!
Delicious and affordable
The ice cream is great and so are the flurries. The ice cream sandwich is enough for 3 days of eating it for 4.50. Biggest best ice cream sandwich ever!
Amazing ice cream for a great price!
I grew up getting ice cream with my parents and then started bringing my husband and kids there. I moved south back 2019 and came back for a family funeral 6/2024, went to Snowman and was not disappointed by them. Awesome, awesome ice cream! Thank you, Snowman!

An ice cream shop with long lines in the summer.
Recommended after walking around People Island and Waterford.
Even Kiddie (small) is large enough for Japanese people.
Ice cream is good, but thunder is also good!

I finally got to try the famous Snowman, a Troy staple since the 1950s! I sampled a couple of their flavors, and they were fantastic—offering all the classic choices. I went with the Coffee Oreo on a cone, and it was delicious—creamy, smooth, and satisfying.
I love that they offer various ways to enjoy your ice cream, from mixing and matching flavors to dipping and topping. They even have a scoop and a half option! The scoops are huge, and the prices are very reasonable. They also have sundaes on the menu ^_^
It’s great to grab some ice cream, sit outside at the picnic tables, and enjoy the atmosphere. I would definitely visit again!

Their soft icecream is in the top 5% of all soft ice cream. The mix was just right, super flavorfull, priced below average for way better quality. The only downside was that the small cone could have been smaller, it was a pretty big small cone. Worth the drive! Check them out! Aug 2024

Sometimes, you gotta keep it classic. I ordered a small soft serve vanilla and for $3.75 it did not disappoint! Delicious and refreshing. Friendly service. I got lucky with the wait. Usually very long lines
