I used to go to RPI and always loved this place. My favorite item is the house chicken, it’s this wonderful plate of authentic, very homey, goodness. This place is a hit! Nothing hits like that one item, they do the flavors, rice, kimchi all perfectly. The ambiance only makes it better!

This was a nice little place not far from RPI. Good food and a lot of little things for sale.

This place has been really high quality since it first opened. I must say they get stingier and stingier with time. Side of kimchi has amounted to less than a bite. I get it buy the side, but it’s still rude to give me one piece of cabbage.

A gem of downtown Troy and one of the few places I missed once I moved

My wife and I lived in Korea for 3 years so were really excited to try this place. Loved the metal cups and getting your water yourself cause this is how a lot of places are there. Also the container the silverware is in is exactly the same as over there.

The thing that really hit for me was the Sundubu Jjigae. It was perfect and we got ours with kimchi but you find it served haemul 해물 with seafood a lot. Oh, nice selection of maekkoli and served authentically as well with the kettle and bowls.

Hands down the best kimchi I've ever had.

Cute little place! A bit overpriced and the rice had no flavor but other than that it’s pretty good! They have imported snacks you can buy too which is cool!

Food is always fresh, hot and delicious!! With a soup and dinner I get two meals out of it , which works for me!

Very fresh vegetables and delicious! Many gluten free options, including kimchi and Bibim Bap. Many vegetarian options, some vegan. The mandoon dumplings and Kim Bap rolls were great as well! Smaller menu but so worth it.

Vegetarian options: Veggies were fresh and locally grown on the family farm. Many dishes like Bibim Bap are vegetarian unless you request meat to be added on.

Dietary restrictions: Bibim Bap and kimchi are gluten free, along with other options.

This place is so darn good - It's closed on Mondays, which gives me another reason to hate Mondays!

Food is reasonable for price vs how much you get - and thy have a super cute shop too.

Hear me: this is a true gem, a true find, with very high quality food, and a lovely atmosphere and very reasonably priced to boot. They make their own kimchi, and it shows. This is the real deal. Do not miss.

Was really excited to try their food cause of amazing reviews but they were quite bland. Could only finish the bowl cause I was starving! Plus the food took quite sometime to come out although the place wasn’t busy.
