I used to go to RPI and always loved this place. My favorite item is the house chicken, it’s this wonderful plate of authentic, very homey, goodness. This place is a hit! Nothing hits like that one item, they do the flavors, rice, kimchi all perfectly. The ambiance only makes it better!
This place has been really high quality since it first opened. I must say they get stingier and stingier with time. Side of kimchi has amounted to less than a bite. I get it buy the side, but it’s still rude to give me one piece of cabbage.
My wife and I lived in Korea for 3 years so were really excited to try this place. Loved the metal cups and getting your water yourself cause this is how a lot of places are there. Also the container the silverware is in is exactly the same as over there.
The thing that really hit for me was the Sundubu Jjigae. It was perfect and we got ours with kimchi but you find it served haemul 해물 with seafood a lot. Oh, nice selection of maekkoli and served authentically...
