We travel 30 miles from Vermont often just to have Testos baked haddock. Absolutely the best as well as their Pasta sauce. Been going there since 1968. Consistently great ! Not fancy just plain good!

Always delicious food and consistent service. A very busy restaurant , worth the trip. Quality food at a reasonable price. We typically order take out but have dined there as well. Margaret is usually at the take out counter and is always friendly and super efficient. As crazy as it gets during busy times she always takes the time to say 'thank-you" Testo's is fortunate to have her.

This place is terrible. 1st off its americanized Italian and the sauce on the ziti I ordered was pasty and chalky. 2nd the pizza tasted like cardboard. Not sure how they make their dough but it seems they def went the cheap way out. I would not recommend this place.

2025: a total crash and burn .....I'm not sure what happened to this restaurant. I've been going here for many years between 2012 and 2023 and the sauce iwas to die for but went there in January 2025 and the meatballs were not homemade and lasagna was very poor as well. The sauce that they made their reputation on was been substituted for with some kind of possibly canned version.... terrible experience I guess we'll take this place off our list and never go back.

Ordered the chicken parmesan from here for $20 and it was a Hair Parmesan instead it was nothing but a dry chicken patty, hair tangled underneath the patty, cheese, pasta, sauce, I thought I chewing a piece of stringy cheese but it was hair, it wasn't mine. As I looked through I could see more hair. I didn't bring it back because I didn't want them to do something more to the food cause people do that, come on do you not wear hair nets or whatever. $20 I would expect a hairless meal. Sad.

I love this place. I'm a spaghetti and meatball kinda guy and Testo's meatballs are perfect. Their sausage is also great but I need to go easy on the pork.

Good but not exceptional food. Prices are reasonable. A local restaurant for the locals. A small plate salad came with the entree along with plenty of fresh sliced Italian bread. The day's special was penne in vodka sauce with mushrooms and chicken. Sauce saw very good, pasta done just right, mushrooms were caned button type and chicken was cubed and sparse. The portions were generous enough for leftovers.

Ate at testo's for the first time last night. Overall things were pretty good with the exception of the shrimp scampi I ordered. The moment they brought it out and sat it in front of me, everybody at the table recoiled from the smell. It was obvious that the shrimp was not good. Not only that, but the pasta was dry without a hint of garlic, butter, wine or salt and pepper for that matter. Whoever cooked that should have known better. Anyway, I sent the scampi back and ordered the lasagna which was absolutely delicious.
