Good but not exceptional food. Prices are reasonable. A local restaurant for the locals. A small plate salad came with the entree along with plenty of fresh sliced Italian bread. The day's special was penne in vodka sauce with mushrooms and chicken. Sauce saw very good, pasta done just right, mushrooms were caned button type and chicken was cubed and sparse. The portions were generous enough for leftovers.
Have NEVER been disappointed in 20 years! The food is always amazing. the sauce is my absolute favorite, especially on their pizza. The staff is ALWAYS ALWAYS friendly and feels like home.
Ate at testo's for the first time last night. Overall things were pretty good with the exception of the shrimp scampi I ordered. The moment they brought it out and sat it in front of me, everybody at the table recoiled from the smell. It was obvious that the shrimp was not good. Not only that, but the pasta was dry without a hint of garlic, butter, wine or salt and pepper for that matter. Whoever cooked that should have known better. Anyway, I sent the scampi back and ordered...
