One of the best restaurant downtown troy area. Everything are perfect ambiance my husband and i love outdoors. When we are in this restaurant feels like we are in europe. This little old town bring so much beauty. Our waitress she is the best! Alexis.. u are amazing and friendly and most of all happy to served us❤️

The Whistling Kettle is one of my favorite places! Love coming here for a decadent brunch - the tea is delicious, and the afternoon tea with a savory crepe, a premium salad, and a fresh baked scone is just an incredible meal. It's also got lovely atmosphere, for both the indoor and outdoor dining options (though hornets do tend to come try to steal your food when eating outside).
Wonderful experience! Smiling faces from the time we went in to the time we left.

Very pleasantly surprised. My scone blt was yummy. Did break up a bit, but still delicious. My friend was also very pleased with her meal. We both ordered that wonderful idea of a meal combo that arrived displayed on a 3-tiered stack. Lobster Bisque was also pretty good.

Went to get loose tea. They have a very nice selection of many different types. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We'll be back! (Didn't rate the food as we didn't eat there but it looked and smelled great.)
The food here is good, but this location's management treats both staff and patrons poorly and you can feel it in the air. Once, my to-go order was not processed due to a mistake and the manager didn’t offer an apology or even make eye contact with me. Additionally, it's puzzling that they reprimand patrons who walk in before 10 a.m. but will not shut the doors to indicate they are closed.

Everything is great here, and it's a fantastic place to get Ayurvedic teas.
Just make sure you're served by the right people, a guy with really bad tattoos took my drink order and didn't make it for 20 minutes, seemingly on purpose.

Great place, excellent value, attentive staff who know the menu. My only kvetch is acoustics: the volume on the music...a wee bit loud for a space with so many hard and reflective surfaces. LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE the high tea...and that cake OMG....returning for just tea and the cake.... definitely.

I avoid this place because it is a chain but lately I hear they are not good to their employees, which tracks with what I hear and notice over the years. Nothing wrong with the food, lovely people who work there. Excellent selection of tea, but doesn't have to include cruel-tea
