The food was great. Our server Rachel was going above and beyond! She is amazing!
A little noisy but great food (Salmon BLT & fries). The fries were perfect! The sandwich fell apart, but was still delicious. Nice atmosphere on an ordinary Monday night!
The food was amazing. I had the cauliflower bites, a strip steak, and a lavender creme brulee. It was all fantastic. To top it off, if was a very hot day and they topped off my water bottle so I could walk back to RPI hydrated.
We got the pretzel app and it was amazing! All of the food was great, as well as out cocktails. Our server was Sydney and she was so personable and nice!!
Our waitress was outstanding. Super personable and the food was amazing.
Lovely environment ruined by rude staff (?manager who I see mentioned in other reviews).
Decided to try out this establishment for date night. There’s no parking for a busy downtown area but no big deal, found something on a nearby (kinda sketchy) street and went in. The hostess asked our preference, and when we offered to sit at the bar were ignored and sat at an outdoor table. Drinks and waitress were great. We hadn’t decided on food yet, just enjoyed the company. Shortly after finishing our drinks while waiting for the check (which was never even offered) an older woman (could it be the infamous “amy?”) approached our table and rather rudely stated, “I don’t know what you guys are doing but I have SEVERAL guests waiting to be seated and if you’re not eating or ordering anything further I’m going to ask you to leave.” Interestingly there were 4 empty 2 seater tables (same as ours) open just behind us. We waited for the check another 10 minutes, paid and left (to a completely empty waiting area might I add). Extremely rude behavior for a business that operates in service. Would NOT recommend as it seems many guests have similar issues. What a joke.
What a night! Thank you to our server Amanda for making us feel so welcome in such a beautiful space, fantastic service and great wit! Celebrated 5 years together and couldn’t have picked a better place! The ambiance, the live music, and THE FOOD!!! Omg the best pasta I’ve had in a LONG time, and the pizza and wings were to die for! Definitely make a reservation as this is obviously a town favorite for a reason!
Really good food and drink. But I went on a Tuesday night as a solo and they told me to sit at the bar wheb I asked for outside seating. I'm sick of restaurants having silly stuff like this. But the bar manager and bartenders were amazing and made my meal worth it in the end.
The menu and food is incredible however, the prices are a bit unreasonable. I had the sea bass, which is almost $40 alone before tax and tip. So nearly a $50 entree and the portion size of the sea bass was rather small. Much smaller than my portions of sides. Additionally I had the cauliflower as an appetizer, which came with carrots and celery, but no condiment to dip the veggies in? (Never saw that before) I asked for a side of blue cheese for them (pretty standard) and was also charged $1 just for a little cup. That said, again, quality and variety of food was great, and server was friendly, but just seems a bit overpriced.
Beautiful, warm, cozy, greenery filled atmosphere.

This place is weird. On its cover, a vibrant, hoppy new floral corner bar in Troy, but at its core, an identity crisis amidst chaos. We stopped in late on a Saturday, and the place was decently full. Upon entrance, a hostess on their phone walked by and said if you’d like you can sit at a table but you have to order your drinks at the bar. Got it. So no service, but there’s tables and it’s kind of a free for all. Points reduced here. Secondly, I’ve worked in restaurants, but when the chef comes out of the kitchen to have a drink, that’s nice and all, but when the staff is also eating their mid shift meal in the open at a free for all table, that’s where I draw the line. Nice marketing of their pear Gorgonzola pizza, but poor etiquette. The name doesn’t fit the vibe at all. The drinks were okay, nothing on the menu stuck out, and were over priced for Troy ($14 or so for a manhattan? These are manhattan prices in a 518 bar - no thanks) you don’t get what you pay for here and you certainly don’t get what you’d expect after glimpsing at their instagram page. I’m not sure how the food is, or the atmosphere/service if it were earlier in the day. I get it people are tired and don’t like to work, but please change your brand if that’s how your positioning yourself as a business. I won’t be back, looking forward to seeing the next rebranding of this place. Ps upstairs was much more of an experience, better drinks, cool menus and vibe, great service with the staff attentive and not just there. Hope this helps!

What a great find! The food was excellent (highly recommend the Haddock Reuben), as was the service (our server was Liberty). Great draft selection, including one of the best sours I've had in a while. The owner (Amy) stopped by and made us feel very welcome. Can't wait to go back.

I can't say enough good things, because the food was delicious, the service was excellent, and it's absolutely beautiful inside. We were so impressed with how attentive they were especially on a very busy Saturday evening. We are looking forward to returning.

Dining at EMBY’S Garden was great experience! The inside is beautiful and looks like the set of brunch scene in a romantic movie. Our waitress was wonderful, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu and pairing recommendations. Every time she came by our table we ended up chatting for several minutes. The food was delicious and affordable compared to other restaurants in the area. The drink menu included fun, seasonal selections with fresh ingredients. I ended up going to EMBY’S Garden later that week with some friends.
