Just came home from our dinner at Emry’s after work. First time eating here and here’s our first impression. I thought the garden ambiance was lovely. The covered outdoor seating was packed but was seated quickly. The cocktail and beer selection looked plenty. We ordered a variety of dishes and unfortunately we found it mediocre.
The watermelon salad was refreshing.
The crab cakes were bland, soggy and uninspired.

Been wanting to try this place for a minute and I’m so happy with how it turned out! Sliced steak, Father Larry, the burger, lime in the coconut, and sangria. Can’t wait to explore the rest of the menu! We loved it!
This was our first time at Emry's Garden, although we were here when it was the Troy Beer Garden. It does have a garden look. The bar area, with the stools, reminds me of a Tiki bar. My wife had a glass of wine and I had a beer. As usual, I wish they had a short beer. We had the pretzel bites appetizer. Tasty but a bit too greasy. We did not have an entree as it was early and I had 2 places to visit. So I may be selling the food short. It was a pleasant day to be in Downtown...
