First time visit to Verdile's Restaurant in Troy, NY Sun 3/16/25 6pm. Highly recommended by our daughter & her man. So we accepted their invitation.\n This is a family owned restaurant for 80+ years. Consistently wins "Best of" awards locally. \n Thought they made reservations, dining was full of reservations. We opted to sit at a table in the bar area. Good options as Peter the bartender was also or server. Our drinks were Peroni on tap ($7) & Malbecs ($10ea)....
Hat a great, place. The food was all around awsome. Much of the food is family style and is perfect to share with our entire party. \nI would recommend this to anybody looking for a quiet Italian restaurant to be able to spend time , eat and talk and enjoy each other's company. \nWe will be going back
The booth they put us in was way too small for four people. Our waitress was nice, but a little standoffish, and acted as if she didn't want to be there on a Friday night. The flavor of the food was very good, however, My chicken parm dinner didn't come with either a soup or a salad like I would have expected, and looked tiny compared to the veal parmasan cutlet delivered to the person across the table from me, which literally filled the entire plate.
