Lovely place, food was delicious, a bit greasy but still great, portion sizes were large, great for takeout. The two people working were very polite.

The portions were so big and the food tasted amazing!! Reminded me of my mom’s favorite recipes .. Salsa music playing in the background .. it was the real deal!! ❤️

Very good place, friendly, very good food, made to order, very good quality and inside very well decorated, I loved it and they also have like a store with Puerto Rican things.
Parking: Good parking and they have a large chair with the Puerto Rican flag to take photos
Kid-friendliness: They have empanadas and chicken dumplings with tostones

As a Puerto Rican myself, seeing my food so deliciously displayed made me so excited to come in. My whole family enjoyed all there meals...everything was superb
Delicious meals with more than you can eat in one setting. I'm not Puerto Rican but my wife is and she also loved the food.
Very casual restaurant. Food was tasty. I had a cheese and guava little empanada and a side of rice and beans. The rice and beans were bland. The chicken stew and burrito were enjoyed.

I am so happy that my partner and I finally stopped and made the decision to eat here. There aren’t many places that truly sell authentic Puerto Rican food.
After my Puerto Rican grandmother passed away, there is a lot less Spanish-speaking in my household, and though my family has tried to uphold her legacy in the kitchen, they will never be her.
When I eat here, I feel like the food does my heritage and my grandma justice. The atmosphere looks like old San Juan. Spanish music is quietly playing in the background and the smell of the food is heavenly.
My partner and I have so far tried two pastillios (or empanadas in my household?) - the beef and the chicken. They’re addicting. They are very large and extremely filling. I was also surprised to see that they sold bacalaitos. Not many places do and the flavor is phenomenal here.
We have also tried the barbecue chicken on a stick. Happy last minute decision! The rice, though may look dryer than what I’m used to, is packed with flavor.
Of course, you always have to end the meal with the delicious dessert. I got the last tres leches today in the fridge - bless. There were no crumbs left behind.
I wish I could learn more about the owners! The female seems quiet and reserved and I haven’t met the male in the kitchen, but I hope to learn more the more they do!

The Cubano sandwich was out of this world for lunch! They have a great selection of drinks in the fridge you won't find anywhere nearby, as well as a variety of snacks and foods in the market shelves. Looking forward to trying more things from their menu!

So happy to see a PR restaurant open near me. There are only a couple in the Captial region.
Place is so beautiful. Reminds me of when I visit the motherland. Food is always fresh, delicious, and is mami approved!

The first visit and the shop is so welcoming. You can tell this is a family run business and they love to do what they do.
Lots of interesting options but I ordered the combo with stewed beef. The rice, stew, beef, and plantains all hit the spot perfectly. I will be back often.
Lots of in and outdoor seating, by the way.
