Food is pretty good the fish and vegan entree are nice along with the dark chocolate pastry, but the prices are very very high for the amount of the food served , getting such small quantity of food for high rates is not worth it.
My pizza was all crust. Hardly any center. When I asked for sauce, they charged $4.50. I needed something as it was so dry. My boyfriend acted for a side salad and charged an extra $5 without telling him.
First time anywhere close to Adirondacks, as I'm in the beginning stages of my nationwide roadtrip, and I stumbled across this place, Amado. Had a great looking atmosphere, the outdoor experience was neat! I saw in the building, but it still felt as if I were outdoors and that was wonderful. I ordered the Wild Boar Sausage Pizza and it was pretty tasty! Highly recommend this place to any newcomer to Tupper Lake! For a fusion style restaurant, their prices are fair!
