Owned by a man who many consider to be the patriarch of the multiple MC's of the North Country, this is not a "yuppie" or "wannabe" establishment. However, if you are a real biker or at least have an appreciation for them and a working knowledge of common sense...you won't find a better place.”

“I’ve been eating here longer than I can remember !!! We have a camp on the Raquette River and frequent the Swiss Kitchen when ever we can get there before 2:00 pm . Great hours for owners :) But not for all . Can’t wait till we’re in the area again ❤️”

“What an awesome bowling alley. I hadn't been here since I was a kid and was glad to get to see how different it is now. There's tons of arcade games, a huge seating area to drink/eat/watch sports, lots of lanes, music, very nice atmosphere. Food was great, bowling was super affordable, lane availability was good despite the fact that there was lots of people and 2 parties booked for today. We (3 of us) played 3 games for almost 3 hours here today and rented shoes and it was only $42. Between that and lunch it was a fun, affordable place to hang out for the afternoon. We went to Big Z's in Lake Placid a couple weeks ago and paid $79 for shoes and an hour of bowling in not nearly as nice or spacious/inviting atmosphere! We will definitely be returning to Lakeview lanes from now on anytime we want to go bowling. Highly recommend!Parking: Big parking lot with plenty of spaces, though it can fill up quickly when they are busy. Even still there's plenty of parking nearby if that happensKid-friendliness: Very kid friendly! Not only can you put up the bumpers but they also had this things that allow your kiddos to roll the ball down a ramp vs throwing it that seem like a great help to kids.Wheelchair accessibility: There are no steps or anything that would prevent wheelchair accessibility as long as you have someone to hold the doors for you”

“Good attentive service. Very good food. I had Airline chicken with Pistachio risotto. Moist, tasty with a good onion and bacon sauce! Dinner partner had Ahi tuna with buckwheat noodles. He was also very pleased”

“A couple weeks ago, a friend and I were in the Adirondacks for the weekend; we were leaving that Monday and needed food to hold us over until we got back to the Buffalo area. Well, driving through Tupper Lake we found a small sleepy plaza and a sub shop in it? Cool, that’ll do!While the employees were friendly enough, it was a bit odd that the prices were not on the menu board… Who does that at a primarily take out establishment?Upon sitting down to eat our subs (I purchased a full size tuna and a soft drink from the dispenser), it was noticed that the tables were kind of sticky almost as if they were not cleaned recently or they had used some kind of strange cleaner on it. That said, the building wasn’t in the best condition as shown by walking in and seeing the ceiling tiles in disrepair. Bathrooms were decent.The Tuna Sub I had ordered did not come toasted (Apparently they don’t toast the sub rolls at this place) which was a bummer honesty but I’d like to think it was made up for with the rather generous amount of tuna meat that was applied to the sub itself. The produce on it was of reasonable quality also, which is as far as I am concerned a reasonable plus.Would I come back if I had the option? Well, I am not sure especially considering there’s a newish McDonald’s just across the parking lot.”

“Just moved in to Tupper Lake from Buffalo and was looking for some good pizza comparable to what I've gotten previously. Of the 3 options in town this was the cheapest and best tasting in my opinion. Got a large pizza. Was ready in 25 mins for a pickup. Very friendly staff. Currently pickup is from kitchen entrance in the back or you can get delivery. No sit down option at this time.”

“This review is a bit delayed as we actually visited China Wok back in October of 2022 during our road trip from Illinois to Maine, but we were just reminiscing about that road trip and the subject came up of, "Remember that Chinese Restaurant that tasted like heaven after driving all day/night through Up-State New York and the winding Adirondack Mountain roads?" and I was inspired to look it up- and wanted to leave it the review it deserves. We hadn't had a nice hot meal for some time at that point and were getting hungry, and knew everything would likely be closed already when we got to our destination in Lake Placid. So we did a quick google search and China Wok appeared to be the only place open that time of night within a pretty big radius. So we took a short detour off our route in Tupper Lake to check it out. We walked in and immediately loved the unique atmosphere/decoration and the kind gentleman behind the counter, who we assumed was the owner, greeted us warmly right away. We had the place to ourselves given the time of night, though it looked like he had quite a few take-out orders going out. We ordered our food and he cooked it up fresh for us, and it all tasted amazing. We will always refer to it as a hidden gem nestled in the Adirondack Mountains that we were fortunate enough to come across. Every time we go out for Chinese back home in Illinois, it just doesn't compare to the memory we have of our fresh-made, late night dinner we had in Tupper Lake. If you are ever traveling through and needing a hot meal like we were- definitely recommend you give it a try.We fell in love with the Adirondacks after this road trip and will definitely visit again. And when we do, we hope to visit China Wok again too!”

“I was traveling to Tupper Lake to go to the Wild Center, looking for a place to grab a bite. Little Italy was the perfect choice. The pizza was delicious! The restaurant is bright, decorated tastefully and very clean. The staff was friendly. The restaurant is open year round. I look forward to stopping there on my next road trip.”
