The service was great, and the food was good. The tables were all dirty and sticky. Grab your food to go and you'll be good.

Was there just after 2 pm on 8/12/25.
Food was not bad, standard Jrecks.
Staff (1 male, 1 female) had zero personality , even unfriendly. It was obvious they didn't want to be there, or hated their job.
Restaurant needed a good cleaning.
NO prices for any items posted ANYWHERE.
Bizarre. Bad representation for Jrecks.

food is not worth your money. service was alright, i got my sandwich so that was good. barely any meat on my sandwich and very small selection of toppings and they can’t toast sandwiches which sucked if you wanted deli meat instead of their hot sub selections.

The male staff was rude when asked for fresh lettuce since there was maybe a smidgen of lettuce in the catainer that was brown. The floors behind the counter where dirty with garage, napkins and that's where they are cooking food. Al the floors were dirty. The soda fountain stand was disgusting with soda stills all over with wrappers and cup covers all over the place.
I was there that night with my husband, you out of towns was very rude the girl and young man was very nice, your kids was sitting down , The older lady kept walking away from the girl that was making your sandwich she kept ask ma'am would u like cheese she kept walking away , she said sorry to me for what , she for taking to long , while she was wait. For the older lady to come back her and the young man make are sandwiches. By the time the lady came back are 2 sandwiches and 2 fries we're done. I love come there, very nice people,

Visiting from out of town for the first time. There were NO other guests eating or in line around 1pm. Despite this the employees both looked exasperated to be waiting on us. The gentleman didn't say much but the woman serving us was quite rude with both her words and hand gestures when she thought no one was looking (hint: I was). She was very pushy despite us stating it was our first visit ever to this franchise.
My daughter and elderly mother had to hover over the women's toilet seat which had dried feces smeared across it, which is even more unacceptable considering that, again, we were the only customers.
The ice wasn't working for the drinks and the worker rudely informed my mother of the fact (despite the fact she got a couple to dispense regardless).
The food was good, but nothing special. The most impressive part was the soft bread. Otherwise, it's a basic sub shop with a rude staff and absolutely nothing that would ever compel us to visit again.

Jreck Subs in Tupper Lake: A Local Legend Lives Up to the Hype
Jreck Subs isn't fancy, but in Tupper Lake, it's a beloved tradition. Stepping into the shop feels like stepping back in time – friendly staff behind the counter, a menu board boasting classic sub options, and the aroma of freshly baked bread hanging in the air.
Don't be fooled by the simplicity, though. Jreck Subs crafts some seriously delicious sandwiches. The bread is the real hero – soft, chewy, and the perfect canvas for their generous portions of fresh ingredients. We opted for the classic Italian sub, and it did not disappoint. Layers of ham, salami, pepperoni, and provolone, piled high with crisp lettuce, tomato, and onion, all drizzled with their addictive signature oil and vinegar. Each bite was a symphony of textures and flavors.
Jreck Subs isn't just about the food, though. It's about the experience. It's the perfect spot to grab a quick and satisfying lunch, watch a game on the TV, and soak up the local atmosphere. The portions are generous, the prices are fair, and the staff is friendly and efficient. It's no wonder Jreck Subs has been a Tupper Lake staple for years. We'll definitely be back!

Never ate here. Suggestion. Sponsor the protest on the 27th. Make a Mexican lasagna sub with choice of old fruit or cold cereal. Run it as the Ivy Ridge special. Then let the cash flow.
Scum of the earth man who was involved with Ivy Ridge school and child abuse. No one should support this mans business.
