Service was horrible. The man that waited on us and who cashed us out was extremely rude. I paid with 100 bill and he talked to himself( not me directly ) as I was standing directly across from him talking bad about me and out of town people coming through and paying with large bills. There was no sign posted saying not to pay and the bill was close to 50 dollars anyway. I will never step foot In There again. A shame because not much is between old forge and saranac lake but oh well I will pack a cooler .

If your looking for a place where you can eat and feel comfortable The Swiss is the place to go. You can roll out of bed with your pj's still on and nobody judge's. It has a great atmosphere, the cooks are absolutely phenomenal! It's just like a home cooked meal!! Portions are pretty decent, depending on who's cooking ,but most of the time they are pretty good. They have reasonable prices for sure! It's just a all in all great place to eat..

I’ve only been here once. But the food was excellent the wait staff are attentive. I’m a fairly sized guy and the portions were big for me. I had a brunch here it felt healthy and filling. I had an omelette and pancakes. The pancakes alone are enough to fill your stomach taking up a whole plate. I’d recommend coming on an empty stomach. Only complaint about the food is the menu is a little short.

So happy we chose this restaurant for breakfast, they certainly bring their A game. The toast was warm and buttered perfect as to melt in your mouth, the sunny up eggs perfect to top the toast with, bacon was top tier...crisp and flavorful, home fries seamed house made, showed up perfectly seasoned and just enough crispness. I've spent 20 some years with a major food service supplier and can say everything was as good as it could possibly be. The service also was spot on, very efficient and customer forward. Pricing is competitive...Thank you so much...I'm sure you're proud of doing it right ?
