My favorite place to eat in Tupper Lake every time I come to Tupper Lake I have a long day hiking and I’m looking forward to filling myself up with the best food. Absolutely love it here. The food is so good. The service is so good perfection

I never write reviews but this was honestly one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. Service, food, atmosphere- all exceptional. Prices are shockingly reasonable for the quality. Definitely a nice little hidden gem with a first class chef and staff. Scored some serious points with the lady with this one. Can't recommend enough.

I dined here last night for a second visit. The atmosphere and service were top notch as were the craft cocktails. They make a great old fashioned, and I noticed other patrons ordering them as well. This time I opted for the steak and while it was flavorful, I have to say I’m more a filet gal. The sauce was delicious and the potatoes were well done, but next time I’ll likely opt for the burger with the house cut fries and homemade bun. I was SO happy to find such a quality dining experience in the middle of the Adirondacks that I made a day trip out of this visit. It’s close to the Wild Center and certainly a destination in itself considering what a great time of year it is to take a scenic drive. Don’t hesitate to try the Woodshed!

What a delight! We are local and have heard nothing but great things about The Woodshed from so many! It did not disappoint. The Mushroom Paté (Yum!), Corn ribs! (Who knew?), pork chop (the best my hubby ever had), and chicken and biscuits (delicious comfort food!). The cocktails were excellent, and the chocolate silk pie with vanilla ice cream was perfect. Our server was excellent; attentive, helpful, kind. The service was as good as any fine dining restaurant. And the decor was amazing. Dark, mystical, romantic, whimsical. We'll be back!

The food and service here were excellent, and while the menu was limited, it was also inspired and had a lot of creativity. Portipms were generous and uniformly well-cooked and well-presented. Overall an outstanding experience.

Hands down one of the best restaurants in the area (and entire upstate area)!! We love ALL the food we ordered and the service is excellent. Their spread and bread is must try, the best bread ever! We were staying in the area for two nights and definitely regretted not going back for the second night. You cannot find any place better than them. Decoration and mood is so great, and they have their own mech!
