When we are looking for a great meal in our area, this is our go to place. Cocktail at the bar, followed by dinner - we love their Caesar salad and the filet mignon is consistently good and cooked to order (I'm a very rare fan and they take me seriously). Tableside preparations of the Caesar salad, some main courses and desserts adds a fun element to the night. We are lucky to have this quality in our small community. Worth the drive.

This was our second time coming. We had the Prime rib. It was good, not great but prime rib is hard. The mashed potatoes were to die for with gravy. They bring you an appetizer, bread, pallet cleanser, and then food. My husband who is from a coastal town in CA , loves the clam chowder. Great place, with great servers.

We ordered 1/2 rack of lamb, chicken picatta and sirloin steak. All were prepared well and service was good.

Food was outstanding! Service is good, but it's a diing experience, so expect it to be there for a while. There was a large party next to us with a loud and talkative member. It was noisy, but they were having fun so 🤷

My family and I were there on Saturday night while my daughter was visiting for a long weekend and really enjoyed our meal. My daughter and I decided to come back on Monday night because she saw the Steak Au Poivre and really wanted that before she left to go back home. She ordered the steak, medium rare, the steak was made in front of us and once the steak was served it was dry and overcooked. It seemed as though it was an old cut of meat, it was cut differently than what we had seen Saturday night. My daughter did eat a majority of it thinking that it would get better but it never did. We addressed this with the waiter, Who told us the chef would be out to speak with us shortly, the waiter came back a few minutes later with our check and said that they comped us half price for the meal. The chef who is supposed to be the new owner never came out to speak with us even though there was less than 5 people in the restaurant. The previous owner asked us as we were leaving how we enjoyed our second round of coming for dinner and I told him that we were very disappointed in the steak this evening. Nothing else much was said to us. I am not only disappointed in the meal, but I’m disappointed in how everything was handled, in my opinion the owner should’ve come and talk to us. I am not one to complain but my daughter was really looking forward to this meal. This could’ve been handled so much better.
What a great place to take your family, charming warm atmosphere exceptionally good steak and wait staff, I highly recommend going for the Cesar salad option. The food is very fresh and the meat is cooked exactly how you want it, 5 stars all day

I had hoped for a nice dinner with my husband and it was even better than I hoped. We drove over an hour each way and will do it again. Our waitress Dorothy was great and we enjoyed the conversation we had with Paul the owner while he made our table side choices. I would recommend this to anyone who lives good food and a small setting. Call for reservations.
