Very disappointed buffet had me thinking a real buffet like the door restaurant. Whoever wrote the other reviews must be family. There is no Ambiance it's just a take out restaurant. We had a 2 large containers so we picked up food. The woman at the register asked if oxtail was in it (yes) so after weighing the food and charging for it she added additional cost . Each large dinner was $25 so we spent $50 for two people, and I didn't even get a drink. The food was nothing to...read full review

Ashlee's Buffet offers a takeout option where food is sold by the pound. The buffet features a variety of authentic Jamaican dishes like curry goat, callaloo, spinach rice, and liver. Customers recommend trying the seafood for an extra charge, as you can choose your preferred portion. The food at Ashlee's is very well prepared and delicious, making it a favorite for Jamaican cuisine. While some dishes like oxtail are praised for being the best ever and incredibly soft, others like rasta pasta may need improvement in taste. The restaurant has a wide variety of dishes, including breakfast choices like ackee, saltfish, fry, boiled dumplings, and plantains. However, some customers noted that popular items like cabbage, rice and peas, and stew chicken can run out quickly and are not replenished fast enough. The price is considered on the expensive side since each meal is measured by the pound. The staff is friendly and efficient, but as a self-service buffet, interactions may be limited. Parking options are limited, with plaza parking scarce and street parking zoned.
