Punto Rojo Bakery Uniondale Reviews
The empanadas are delicious. I'm ready to taste everything else on the menu.
Okay so i used to walk her all the time with my family because i lived so near it and the food was the best like I’m so sad that i don’t live in ny anymore because I’m pretty sure they don’t have this in nc so this is my favorite place to eat whenever i visit my family there, love it so much!
I drive 30 minutes just to come here because the service is great. The food is great. The bakery is great. The Empanada de Cambray is a MUST have - if you like guava & cheese.
You’re able to dine in, but it definitely feels more of a casual spot than a high-end dinner.
I really enjoy the service because it’s swift and fast. They have multiple people helping different customers at the same time.
They have so much variety

Punto Rojo Bakery Uniondale offers Colombian food, including authentic dishes like Calentado Paiso and Empanadas. The menu features a variety of options, from breakfast items to pasta, salads, sandwiches, and meat dishes. The bakery section displays visually appealing baked goods, including Tres leches cake, which has received positive reviews. Customers often enjoy bringing bakery items from their country and appreciate the selection of Colombian treats.
The restaurant is clean and inviting, with friendly and helpful employees. Many customers mention that the service is usually very good and attempts to get diners in and out efficiently. However, some have noted that the food sometimes isn't hot when eaten there, and a few instances of mistakes in takeout orders, such as charging for three fritters but receiving only two. Portion sizes are generous, and the food is generally good, though service can be slow at times, and utensils or plates may not be provided promptly. A mandatory gratuity of 18%-20% is added to the bill.
Despite minor issues, many customers enjoy the food and atmosphere enough to return regularly. The restaurant is especially popular on weekends, and the Cholada drink topped with fruit has been well received. Overall, it remains a popular spot for Colombian cuisine and bakery items.
