Have an incredible experience very time we're at the Ice Jam Inn! Food is amazing--so amazing we ended up having our micro wedding dinner there and everyone loved it. Couldn't recommend more!

This experience will not be eclipsed. This review is for the Inn and the restaurant and we stayed there the weekend of the 2024 Eclipse. We also ate twice at the restaurant. We had a party of 7, and each night, though different wait staff, they couldn't have been nicer. The food was great (the smoked cauliflower soup and the Brussel sprouts with bacon, as other reviewers have stated was awesome). The Inn itself has a long history, and is old, but it's well maintained and the rooms are tastefully decorated. To me at least, if I can decompress immediately at arrival and feel at home, that feeling is invaluable. The pic I've attached is the back of the Inn during totality.

After many good reports from friends, we tried the Inn for dinner. If we had known that gluten is heavily featured, we would not have tried the place. Mussels Thai style were tender but had no Thai flavor. Poutine was poutine. Husband was very sad to have few options on the menu as he is gf. Service was slow and sporadic. The heavy menu made this initial visit our last.

Looking for a nice home cooked breakfast or lunch? Then say no more. This is an excellent breakfast spot. Food is consistently good and atmosphere is inviting and cozy. Sometimes the service will be a little off but nothing to deter me to returning. Highly recommend and have retuned quite a few times.

Probably the best restaurant in and around the North
Great dinner options. Recommend the brussel sprouts and mussels. And I normally don't like brussels sprouts. They managed to remove the bitterness with how they prepared them.

Wow, this place was amazing! The poutine is some of the best I've ever had. The seafood chowder was delicious, and the bratwurst special was to die for. Highly recommend!!

Overpriced food. Poor service. Rude staff. Bahn mi 6/10. Burger 7.5/10 (good cheese sauce)Our party of 2 was not seated 45 minutes before close. They told us “we’re fully booked,” but there were clearly tables open and the staff was dismissive. When we first came in, no staff member acknowledged us even though we were at the hostess stand. We were not offered to even order takeaway, so we had to chase down several workers to get an answer on if we could order to go. The lady taking our to go order was extremely dismissive. She didn’t even ask how we wanted our burger. They insisted they would leave our takeaway food outside the door, and insisted I paid before getting the food (fine but weird). At 8:15, we left with our takeaway and noted that no one ever took those open tables that were “reserved”.
