This is always one of my go-to recommendations for Utica. The food and drinks are consistently great and it’s a fun spot overall. We even had our wedding rehearsal dinner in their events center a few weeks ago, and we were very satisfied! The price was very reasonable, the banquet food was incredible, and the staff was professional. The events management team was easy to work with and flexible to our needs (we had some folks with severe food allergies, and they were very accommodating). After our party, we hung around the inside bar area for drinks, and our guests loved it—its such a fun atmosphere, the inside is beautiful. If you want great food, service, and ambiance in Utica, this is your place for dinner, drinks, or even hosting an event.

We sat at the bar and there were 7 waitstaff in the restaurant. They welcomed us in, and gleefully ‘thanked us for coming in’… after NOT serving us! No one would make eye contact and they walked past us many times. We were the only ones at the bar, and the bar back refused to acknowledge our existence despite standing directly in front of us emptying glasses several times from the outdoor tables. This is quite sad as we frequent this bar, typically have a good experience, and we even know some of the bar tenders.
It was clear we weren’t welcome. So horrible it was laughable.

While I've always loved Irish people, music, and beer. But I never trusted their food. Boy was I wrong!!!

Went there on July 5, no one was there, no signs saying they were closed, so we went to Celtic Harp.

Probably the best Guinness in Utica, $9 for a proper Imperial pint and $7 for a pour in a 16 oz glass.
Please note, my reviews are solely on the quality of the Guinness and do not necessarily reflect the food, service or atmosphere.
This was a great experience. Even on derby day we waited maybe 5 minutes and the food was amazing. The service even better.
One of our favorite restaurants. Food is fantastic, interior is beautiful. Service was prompt and courteous/friendly. One of the best places in Utica, especially for fish fry

Ruben sandwich was tough. Corn beef need to be sliced thin. It was not cooked long enough.

Best Irish Bar in the area!
I love Five Points! The drinks are great and the atmosphere is so lovely. The Irish cultural museum upstairs is very interesting as well!
