I found this wonderful little spot in Utica today and it was the most amazing experience I’ve had in a
while. The service was wonderful. Two amazingly sweet women conversed with me and even recommended a delightful bakery across the street. I took a good while to stare at the menu as I don’t have much exposure to Dominican food and it was hard to narrow down what delicacy to choose. I ended up ordering the Pernil, the pescado frito, and beef empanadas. It was DIVINE! Each dish was cook to perfection and filled with so much flavor! I will definitely be back.

We got takeout that included a Cubano sandwich, pollo con camarones, and maduros, and flan. Food was perfectly prepared and flavorful. Amazing quantities for the price, except for the flan, seemed to be a very small piece for $5. Everything else was more than a meal for two people. Everyone orders at the counter (see photo) and either moves to the adjacent dining room or gets takeout. The employees (maybe owners?) were very sweet. Very clean inside.

Food way to expensive and taste are way off I payed 40 dollars for a Malta beverage I think that’s what it’s called.. Ice cream and a bowl of rice & beans banana and chicken do the bike was about 25$??? It’s insane

$70 worth of food and it was not good. There wasn’t any flavor to the rice, bean or stew chicken. The taste was just wayyy off. Highly disappointed. The shrimp empanadas were bland as well. Also they need to update their website prices cause they’re not correct
