Wisk is a very nice spot for breakfast. Food is fresh made with good ingredients. Staff are welcoming and friendly. Baked goods in display cases were a treat for the eyes!

My wife and I had breakfast here and we loved it. She had an omelet and loved that the eggs were not overcooked. I had the pancakes and loved the maple butter served with it inside of syrup. We were there at 10:30AM on a Saturday and it was packed. Service was good and steady. Once we ordered, you order at the register, the food came fairly quickly.

We had a lovely breakfast at an outdoor table in front of the store. I had avocado toast and my husband had pancakes. We shared a sfogliatella. The food was quite good. Coffee was excellent, as was the service. Prices are on the high side, but not exorbitant

This little cafe certainly does a great job advertising but unfortunately doesn’t live up to the expectation created through their media efforts. My husband was looking g forward to a croissant or other baked good for breakfast but when we arrived at 8:30am she said they sold out. Considering they only opened 1.5 hours early that was poor planning. We both ordered the yogurt bowl. It was displayed well with ample fruit and yogurt but little more than a tablespoon of granola. It certainly wasn’t worth the $7.95 we paid. Also, don’t expect free refills of coffee. I can’t speak for the other breakfast items by taste but they did look good and were presented well. The cafe was clean and decorated nicely.

I went with a girl friend to get sweets for a get together. We went up to the counter and the lady at the registration never acknowledged us or the elderly gentleman that was also waiting. We got so tired of waiting while she chatted with a friend that we just left.

Great atmosphere but sorry to see they painted the brick walls white. We went at lunch time and ordered breakfast. Everything we ordered came fast and tasted great. The blueberry pancakes came with a cup of maple butter and lemon ricotta spread which were delicious. I got eggs, home fries, ham and ciabatta toast. I love home fries and theirs were very good as was the ciabatta. The baked goods looked amazing. They make and bake everything there. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful location and trendy atmosphere! Wonderful breakfast and lunches! But the dessert and bakery are the real reason to try Wisk.

We came here because it said they had vegan and gluten free options. They had zero vegan options, except for a fruit bowl and the gluten free options was to take out any gluten compo wants for a dish, but not replace them, example: if you ordered an omelette they would take away the toast. For anyone with dietary restrictions, this is not the place to come. Suggesting they have options when they don't is really jive and a waste of time for people that cannot eat conventionally.

We happened upon this gem while staying for an overnight in Utica. Friendly service, delicious homemade pastries/breakfast and beautiful surroundings. We had breakfast sandwiches on fresh croissants and grilled ciabatta. I had to take home a cinnamon roll covered in icing. For their best selection, get there on the earlier side as items aren't mass produced.

Whenever we visit Utica, Wisk is on our go to list of places to go. The breakfast burrito is the mainstay - fluffy eggs, great home fries, quality bacon, and meaty cheese. The salsa is truly the staple. It’s probably the best I’ve ever had. Price point is excellent. Highly recommend.

We had a chicken wrap which was absolutely tasteless. Asked for more salsa- which was the best part and the woman at the counter did not seem happy that we asked. She also corrected my wife's pronunciation of "macaroons" in a fairly nasty way. We did not buy any after that and have since heard several people pronounce it exactly the same way. Because of on-going construction this place was hard to find, they have changed their name from Bite Bakery but not on their website, the food was not good and the service unpleasant........... Once was enough.

Three of us had breakfast, each something different off menu. We all enjoyed the atmosphere and the food was very tasty. Nice staff that even brought extra whipped cream for no extra charge. Recommend stopping in! Ignore JohnL review. Does not seem accurate.

We went here for breakfast on our first morning in Utica. Easy walk from our hotel. I went with the blueberry pancakes, while my girlfriend had the avocado toast. I went with the short stack. Huge pancakes that I couldn’t finish. Great flavor.

Surprisingly sub par. Visited Monday Sept 23 at about 10AM. This is the second time we went, each time while staying behind the cafe in the DoubleTree/Hotel Utica. I don't very often leave a poor review, I do provide reviews but I tend to try and stay positive. A place can have an off day, etc so I tend to only write about places I enjoy. However the "Bite" was so sub par, for the second time, I had to take a moment. - It's expensive. - Order at the counter pay and prompted to tip in advance of service (which I did, my error), food is brought to your table, bus your own table -During this stop we ordered and paid for hash-browns only to be told five minutes after we sat, that they were out . Had to go back to the counter for the credit to the meal. -Ordered the fruit cup, minimal banana, i'd guess around .25 of a banana, about 1.5 strawberries and loaded the rest of the cup with blueberries. The banana and strawberries were not at all fresh. -Ordered Iced coffee with a shot of espresso, coffee was actually hot coffee, with I'm pretty sure had no espresso, with a bunch of ice dumped into it, which had melted, making it just weak, poor tasting room temperature coffee. I gave the "Bite Bakery and Cafe" two stars because the place itself is kind of unique/cool, and the staff was polite but a bit indifferent, so it's not one star, however at their price point, they have a bit of work to do.
