Hot damn this place is a gem. Had the fried bologna sandwich with hot peppers, vodka riggies, mushroom stew & the meatballs. Absolutely lights out good. This is a real restaurant from a bygone era serving working class fare who doesn’t care what you think and it’s a beautiful.
Excellent food done like your grandma used to make!! Real ingredients, no shortcuts, amazing flavor like it was in the 1950s !! The roasted sweet and Long hots are my favorite side, with the Soft Italian bread and grated cheese!!! Love their bracciole, all homemade ingredients, the meatballs are very flavorful . Party of 4. My 2nd time there efore Comets game. Very friendly, attentive service. Tripe was outstanding both times as were the fried peppers! Friends up from New Jersey and raved about the tripe! Will definitely be on my top 5 to go to for dinner in Utica!
