Disappointing. We read the reviews and were excited to eat here. Upon arrival many of the dishes were not available. We
Ordered the lamb with baba ghanoush, and instead we got hummus, it wasn’t the first order our server mixed up so we decided to just stick with it. The meat was very tough and hard. I had to spit several pieces out. It was the same lamb that was in the lamb shawarma. It wasn’t real Shawarma where it’s sliced. It’s cubed meat and not the best cut. If they cooked or marinated it longer it could be better. The kids food was okay. The bread was good though. The only authentic and well made food of everything else. Also, there was no complimentary tea or salad like some reviews said. Another minus was they started putting the chairs up on tables while we’re eating, which is just poor manners. I’ll skip this place next time.

FABULOUS restaurant! The food is SO GOOD! SO DELICIOUS!!!! I had a lamb dish with baba ghanoush (dish from an eggplant).
The flat bread is made right in the restaurant and it’s unbelievably tasty. The portions are very generous. I had to take a doggie bag home 😋
Also the tea!!! ☕️ If you’re a tea lover, you will appreciate their tea, I promise.
On my way out I got a milkshake made with mango and dates.
This restaurant is an undiscovered treasure in Utica!

We ordered dishes for take out with absolutely no familiarity with the cuisine. The restaurant itself was clean and inviting with a very tempting desert cooler and complimentary tea. The tea was a delicious surprise: sweetened and spiced with cinnamon and cardamom. The menu offers multiple proteins and multiple preparation styles. In the end, order your protein of choice and focus on the preparations: we got a Kebsa, and a Ghallaba with hummus. The Kebsa is a rice based dish and some of our diners are skeptical of rice. But the rice is not just a bland side but a flavorful highlight that stands on its own. The Ghallabsa consisted of boneless chunks of grilled spiced meat and was an absolute show stopper. Highly recommend.
If you’re looking for something different One Arabian Night is worth the experience.

Delicious food with very friendly service. It easily exceeded expectations, from appetizers to the main dishes, and conveyed a warm sense of hospitality not just from the cuisine but also the staff serving it.
The quality and flavor of the food, with an unexpected highlight being the fresh bread, surpasses the vast majority of what you will find at most other Middle Eastern eateries across the country, including in medium sized and some large cities. It’s truly a gem in Utica and it’ll be a staple every time I visit.

I tried the chicken fasha here, and it was amazing — rich, flavorful, and served piping hot in a stone bowl. What really stood out was the giant, freshly baked bread that came with it — soft on the inside with a perfect char and black seeds on top. The dish looked as good as it tasted — great presentation and even better flavor. The restaurant was quiet, clean, and had a cozy atmosphere. Highly recommend if you’re craving something hearty and authentic!

One of the best meals I’ve had in Utica. Delicious lamb, perfect rice, amazing fresh flatbread. Even the tea was great. The baba gannoush was creamy and smoky, and a touch under seasoned. The service was very casual but I didn’t care because of the quality of the food. Will return and try more of the menu for sure.

Still thinking about this meal!!! My husband (who’s Moroccan) said this is the best lamb he’s had in the U.S., which says a lot. I had the chicken with babaganoush and hummus, it was absolutely delicious. The broth they serve with it is so cozy, and the house salad was super fresh. Honestly, everything hit the spot. Highly recommended, We’ll definitely be back

The times are not correct. I came here and the sign says open, someone is in there they did not acknowledge me. So I would appreciate the correct hour of operation to be posted online and in your store front.
I love this place--the food is incredible: huge portions and delicious. Love the fassolia and the lamb soup served w/ the meal. I always get the Chicken Ghallaba on babaganoush because it is so tasty (warm spices, scallions, tomato) but I hope to branch out because based on other reviews, there are so many stand out dishes here. Also great place for meat eaters and vegetarians to eat side by side. Wonderful tea! Keep in mind that the table service is v relaxed here, so if you need something, ask at the counter! One of the best restaurants in Utica so don't miss this gem.

An amazing amazing restaurant! I can't suggest it enough, most of the dishes are platters to share and the prices are reasonable. They also have free Chai Tea and it's the best I've had in my life. The people are friendly and it's a beautiful restaurant.
