This is now Reset. Reset is a juice bar and fruit bowl venue. Their smoothies are pretty amazing. The owner is very welcoming and the atmosphere is wonderful.

What a great surprise this restaurant was! We branched out of our normal comfort zone and this was our first time at a Dominican restaurant. We are so happy we did! The food was simple, hearty, and delicious, and very reasonably priced. The sweet plantains were out of this world delicious! The rice and beans were also delicious, though we would have liked more beans in proportion to the rice.

When ever I travel I always try to find an authentic cultured local authentic restaurant. Today I found the place I will return to next time I am in Utica. I went in with zero expectations. Simple drink menus, I went with the sangria. OMG. The sangria! While I sipped and looked at the menu, ( all food I have never heard of) on the wood plank menu board. I went with a steak something. I said I will have the xxx. The polite waitress repeated it back correctly as I tried to say it 3 times and all 3 times she said it right and I butchered it. We both smiled and she walked away. When the food came, my eyes opening wide. The fragrance was amazing. Imagine the perfect stuffing without the breading, wrapped in a perfectly cooked steak. Smothered in a Marsala style sauce with extra garlic. When you drive down the street and you say to yourself “I would never go there” because of the location or how the paint on the building may not be the most fresh. Stop the car and go in. You will be overwhelmed by hospitality, fresh ingredients, fair prices and a full belly. @Mi Casa I will be back. Thank you for an amazing experience

Never returning again. Food was okay, but the menu prices are COMPLETELY different from the bill prices at the end. I now just see people with similar experiences as us, but it’s mind-blowing that these reviews were made A YEAR AGO, and this issue still isn’t fixed?! I also saw reviews saying it’s about race and they raise prices for white people, however, me and my family are 100% latino ourselves and we spoke to them only in Spanish but we still had the same experience. My mother had ordered a dish on the menu that had said $23 on the menu, and the menu price was the ONLY reason why she asked for it in the first place, but they charged us $30 for it at the end. And when we vocalized this, another waitress asked “oh, your waitress didn’t tell you?”. NO. She indeed NEVER did. It’s the fact this restaurant is 100% aware of their prices from the menu and how they are nowhere near the prices on the bill, and CHOOSE to not fix this issue so they can scam more people. Because this issue has occurred for a year already, and they definitely have the money to fix it since they’re stealing every customer’s money. Me and my Latino family were initially so happy and pleased that there was a Latin restaurant that wasn’t Mexican upstate since we just moved from Queens, NYC which is very diverse in the Latino community. But we were severely disappointed at the end when they completely screwed us over. It’s extremely unprofessional and they should fix their menu prices. I’d be satisfied if their new menu was on a piece of printer paper, at least they wouldn’t be lying to their customers.
