Everything was excellent. Music was great too, although a bit too loud. But that may have been because we were early and there were not many people there yet. Can't wait to go again!

This is as good any big city seafood restaurant. We had appetizers, entrees and desserts. Each was excellently prepared and presented. Many in the area make it their spot for special occasions and now I know why.

I never write reviews but always refer to them to get a better sense of what a restaurant might be like. Since the majority of reviews were positive regaurding Ocean Blue, and we were relying heavily on reviews since we're not from the area, we made a reservation. My husband got a buttered "lobster" roll which had little meat in it and the meat that was in it, was minced. I got fish and chips and instead of a fresh filet, I got 3 small round balls of fish. My son got a medium rare ribeye and it came out WELL done. Unfortunately, our waiter was nowhere to be found and by the time we could flag another staff down the entire table was done eating. We then had to wait another 15 minutes for a new steak when all we really wanted to do was get our check and leave. Not worth the money for the food, ambiance (every water glass is scratched/dirty) or wait staff.

Staff was friendly and attentive. Salmon on all 3 orders was over cooked and dry. Ceviche was off on the flavor and 50% if it was dried corn kernel.

Bartenders and servers and management are fantastic. The terrace on a nice day is wonderful. Food overall is excellent but I wish the menu would change a little.

Food was great! Staff was above and beyond! I was so surprised when i got the bill. Great value!

Great cosmopolitan look, but with a small-town staff that diminished the look and feel. I had the Faroe Salmon, which was to be cooked at the chef's recommended medium temperature, but it came out medium well, drying the fish out. The $8 baked potato was good but cold, and the highlight was the Brussels sprouts, cooked and seasoned right. Alcohol is overpriced. A shot of tequila was almost half the price of the bottle. Rooftop dining was unexpected and enjoyable.

Always great good! Every server helps with clearing tables and bringing out food so service is nonstop.

The food is very expensive for the value, and the menu is misleading. The bang bang caulifower is not in bang bang sauce, which is confusing. The lobster rolls were disappointing in terms of portion size. The scallops were burnt. The drink prices, and food prices, are highly inflated compared to other major metropolitan areas with similar "upscale" restaurants and very inflated for other Utica area restaurants. ESPECIALLY the wine prices - they're charging $17 / glass for Kim Crawford (which is ~15 a BOTTLE at the store) and $40 / bottle for Martin Codex (which is $20 / bottle at the store). Service was lackluster, inconsistent, and unkind.

Ocean Blue for your upscale dining experience! We went there to celebrate our anniversary. The food was delicious! The waiter was perfect! The atmosphere was romantic!

truly disappointed... the wine comes out literally 3-4 oz's... and then it tastes like vinegar.

the shrimp cocktail was so bad i wouldn't even use it as bait! smelled awful....

and the dinner entre was basic... ive had much better steak at Texas road house...

they really need to get their act together...

too bad , cause its a really nice spot

My husband and I both had the Chilean Sea Bass which was superb, although pricey. The Asian shrimp salad was fantastic that I had and my husband really liked the lobster bisque as well. Our waiter, Zack, never failed to show up at the appropriate times we needed him and gave us great service. Would highly recommend!

We selected Ocean Blue for our 22nd anniversary dinner and are extremely glad that we did! Everything was perfect: the ambiance, the food, our server, the pacing of the courses, everything. This was our first dining experience here but it WILL NOT be our last.
