My favorite brewery in the country... a new york transplant to California.. Ive tasted and been to so many breweries in California and nothing compares to Saranac. This is a family place that is so close to my heart, and for sure is a staple to Upstate NY and the USA... my great uncle used to work here, my familys from here, and my cousin currently works here, and I couldnt be prouder of him and the work he does.. we all care... the history here is our history. We love this place dearly and I cant wait to come back... here you taste true greatness in hops, freshness, and passion. ??????????????

My boyfriend and I did the tour. Our guide was Tom per personable and comical knew all the history! Good food one bartender out was a little snotty but didn’t ruin my day ! Food was very good !

Great outdoor opportunity to drink Utica Club and relax.
The menu is simple but fantastic (good burgers). The crew working have always been friendly.
You can go on a brewery tour but it’s not cheap, $20 a head. They will take you through the brewery and show off some cool stuff but it’s the most expensive tour I’ve encountered ($40) per couple.
Get a flight to enjoy the samples the brewery makes but a UC at the source will be nice.
Check out the gift shop too, for some nice swag.
Parking: Park on the street and walk to the brewery??

Customer service is so bad. I'm leaving this review while sitting here, in hopes these losers see it. If you hate your job, leave it. Do something else. It's not my fault.
Not only was staff avoiding communicating with customers because they'd rather chit chat with themselves, but once realizing they had to actually take an order, they did it with attitude and discussed.
Giving an extra start cuz the food was... Okay
I hope they find their happiness. We all deserve it.

Had lunch with my daughter and we were not disappointed... Great weather, our food was delicious and plentiful!!! Had the Turkey Club and a Utica Pilsner - excellent lunch in the Biergarden! Definitely going back!!!
I went to a local beverage center looking for a craft beer to buy for something different. They suggested Saranac and told me there was a $5 rebate so I purchased it. I followed the rebate link on the receipt and sent the required info. I received a text back that it was approved and could be processed through either PayPal or Venmo which I have neither app or interest in obtaining either app. I’ve called, left messages and finally got a response that they only rebate via these two sources. I had other options with rebates but because Saranac never disclosed their policy I didn’t look at purchasing another product. This is a bad business practice and I’ll never purchase their product again. It’s not the $5 but the way businesses are not transparent to customers anymore.

We had a wonderful experience here! Sidney was an amazing bartender- so kind. The whole vibe of this brewery is so cool- the building itself is amazing. The food was also excellent!
