While in town from Michigan, my husband & I came into slice to try one of the famous reviewed pizzas. We eneded up getting a large cheese pizza & a wing combo. Both items were spot on. Im not talking just good, im talking AMAZING. We dont have anything like this where we live. The sauce was light in color & SO FRESH. The crust was golden & bubbly with absolutely no flop, and the cheese was fresh & so dang good. We had some minor issues with the combo pricing, but Joe fixed everything & made it right. He is an up front owner who takes pride in his menu & customer support. It really won us over. Not only is the pizza cooked to perfection, but the foundation of his business is built on something wonderful. Our daughter is currently a National championship college soccer player, and we are SO looking forward to hopefully coming back next year. Slice will be our first stop. Thanks again, Joe & family!!!

Had a bad service experience where I was told the slices would only take 10 minutes after paying. I waited more than double with no updates during the wait, that wasnt great, but worse yet the slices are mid at best when compared to savage pizza across the street.
The purple cow wings aren't good. they are always burnt and dont fall for the sample, the first one is always alright but by the last wing I promise you will be eating around the char.
Edit: didnt realize they didnt have running water ... thats crazy they make better pizza than you. you guys weren't suddenly mid, quality had been dropping for a while. honestly even if you guys returned to your peak after how you responded to this review you can keep it or give it away to the people who bring this review in!

I’ve been coming here for over 4 years and used to recommend this place to everyone. Unfortunately, the quality and service have gone downhill. It now takes forever to get a pizza, and what used to be great NY-style slices are now no better than what you’d get from a chain — definitely not thin, crisp, or consistent anymore.
What’s worse is how the owner handles feedback. Instead of taking criticism professionally, he hunts down reviews and tries to mock customers by offering free food to anyone who comes in to “laugh” at them. Honestly, even if the food were free, it wouldn’t be worth it.
It’s a shame to see a spot I loved in college fall this far. My boyfriend and I now get pizza from Savage across the street — they have real NYC-style slices, great service, and honest wait times. The owner here can make jokes about a food truck all he wants, but the fact that we’d rather get pizza from a trailer with no running water says everything about how much this place has declined.
I support savage because we always leave much more satisfied with our order, the guys are great and have pride in the work they put out.

So I'm from Queens and have had pizza all over NYC and the boros all my adult life so Pizza 🍕 is my jam. Ordered the NY Slice after our college tour and I have to say I am thoroughly impressed with their pizza at Slice. The tomato sauce tastes homemade reminds me of my grandma's sauce. The crust was soft and had that little crunch I love and the cheese was ooey gooey deelish. The service was great too. My son gobbled up the cheesecake. I highly recommend them! ❤️🍕😋

I just want to give a shoutout to the nice young girl working the front counter. She was the sweetest person ever! AND I've never seen someone multitask like her. She needs a raise for sure. She made sure everyone was greeted and felt welcome and had a great experience. I wasn't even here to order I was just picking up a door dash. I will for sure be coming here to eat just for the pleasant atmosphere.
