First time eating there. Portions were great. Server was phenomenal although she could have been more attentive with drinks. Escargot app was tasty, although mushrooms were canned..dish also needed salt. I had the porterhouse scampi special. Very large shrimp, seemed not frozen. Steak was cooked properly although lacked seasoning. Very bland. Also, it was not a porterhouse, it was a t-bone. Very little if any filet on the bone. Was kind of bummed since the dish was 64.00. Lived in New Hartford for 8 years and never went to Ventura’s. Went with four friends and the food was excellent. \n\nEveryone LOVED their food, even before they found out I was paying. \n\nI had rigatoni marinara with meatballs.\n\nWe had appetizers, main courses and desserts. Even the coffee was good!\n\nThe place was packed but service was top notch. I’d return if I lived in the area.
