came here at 9:15 hoping to get some ice cream with my family and they shut off the lights as soon as they saw me get out of the car. there were also 3 other cars waiting outside. we called before to make sure they were open and they said they were.

Visiting family in New York, I was introduced to Ralph's. Wow what a treat!! Small, clean location, with friendly staff and limited parking. You can sample the flavor before purchasing. I tried the pistachio (green color pistachio) creme ices. Sooo good ? I can see this becoming an addiction ? They accept cash and card.

The ice cream and Italian ices are fine but the service is terrible every time we go. It makes me feel like a crotchety old person but the teenagers just talk to each other and act like you’re burdening them by wanting to order something. No acknowledgement, friendliness, anything.

Pulled up to the Ralph’s ices in Valley stream at 10:01. The website says that their open until 11:30. Three people are working inside...lights on...sign on the door says open. I go to open the door and they turn around and say that they’re closed. As I look inside, they couldn’t have locked the door but 30 seconds earlier. I guess they’re so popular, that they don’t care about REAL CUSTOMER SERVICE. I’ve spent at least $2500.00 at this establishment in the last 3 years. I didn’t say that to the girls inside, nor should I have too. With the world sort of falling apart around us with this corona virus, you would think that businesses would be thinking out of the box just a little...like serving someone when it would have taken absolutely zero effort to make a customer happy and long time loyal fan. I’ve never left a review on a google page, never, but this kind of service just tasted extra horrible in these times.

The workers are slow and not helpful at all. I asked for crème ice cream and they gave me a regular icee, then claimed they didn't have the crème ice cream at all even thought i was looking at it. Wouldn't recommend this Ralph's

It's Ralph's! Great frozen treats, lemon meringue is my new favorite. Staff is always friendly and they are generous with the serving.

Overall the place is nice and the service is good, sometimes.The last time I went was with my 4 friends and they were served 7 minutes before me and I was there trying to order. A worker walks in to start his shift and proceeds to help me. I give a personal thanks to him. Even though I was ignored I still give them a fair three stars.
