Itgen's Restaurant & Ice Cream Parlour is a classic spot with a blast to the past look. The 4 scoop sundae is a steal at $11, perfect for 3 people. While the hot fudge melted the ice cream, the variety of flavors and homemade toppings like whipped cream and hot fudge make up for it. The new owners take great pride in their service and have continued the tradition of good food with quality ingredients, offering delicious burgers, fries, turkey sandwiches, and homemade ice cream sundaes. The staff is attentive and personable, providing a great home cooking experience. The place looks cleaner than before, and there is still charm in the kitschy old-school decor. The only downside is limited seating for larger groups, but overall, it is a fantastic place for a chill time. Guests recommend trying the FLAT CAR, a delightful dessert made with warm house-made pound cake topped with two scoops of ice cream, drizzled with house-made hot fudge and capped with house-made whipped cream. Itgen's is truly a "feel good" kind of place, making it a perfect spot for families and friends to gather.
