We attended the magical Christmas adventure with our family including grandkids and our adult children. The adventure was marketed as having Mrs. Claus and Santa Claus, writing a letter to Santa, Cookie decorating, a petting zoo, pictures with Zoey the zebra and Biff the Bison and a 20 minute ride around the grounds. The cost was $30 for an adult and $28 for kids. They had all the above except for Biff the Bison and animals seen were minimal. The 20 minute ride around the grounds was on a covered trailer pulled by a tractor. To feed the animals was $2.00 for a Dixie cup of food. Overall we thought the experience was just ok. It took us 2 1/2 hours for the whole experience. Our family tries to do a Christmas get together every year. This wouldn’t be an experience we would do again compared to other experiences we have done. However we agreed we would try in the warmer months when the cost is less expensive for a 1 hour guided tour. ($22 for children and $25 for adults). The price did not match what we received. The animals seen were minimal. No guided tour and more expensive in December than during the the other months. No Camel or sheep. Some suggestions I would have for hidden adventure if they want to charge extra in December is to give some extras. Some suggestions would be to include a beverage such as coffee, tea or hot chocolate. Maybe include one Dixie cup of feed per child. Consider having a narrated tour 20 minute tour. Thanks! Merry Christmas

First time patron today. Came with my kids. I knew the risk of driving my own vehicle through the park. I was willing to risk some scratches and dents for such a cool experience. I wasn’t however, expecting my vehicle to be impaled by the horn of a buffalo. Its horn literally got stuck and it shook my entire van trying to get free, scared the crap out of my kids. This is going to be an extremely expensive fix. I strongly urge patrons to take the safari bus and not risk the damage to your own car.
we had a great time on the safari. the bus driver did a lot to add to the adventure. he was great. all of the kids (and adults), had a wonderful adventure. thank you for a great day!
Really disappointed in my experience. I took my mom for mother’s day weekend and we were having a great time until coming across a bison with a missing horn. We pulled over and called multiple times, no answer. We went to the front desk and were told “oh they’re talking about it” went around 2 more times and the bison was still in the field no medical attention not pulled away from the crowd anything. Why a bison is in the middle of a field missing a horn organs or whatever dangling is beyond me. My mom and I are still so upset about this, I can’t imagine how the many children going through the park that may have seen that feel. it was disgusting and disturbing and if you have multiple guest informing you of an issue maybe you should do something about it??? That’s just me though… I’ve been to 20+ different safaris and have never seen anything as neglectful as this. I am so happy we didn’t get season passes because we are disgusted by their lack of empathy for their animals.
Great place to eat and

I was disappointed that they did not have any Panini's or Mac salad on my recent Sunday visit. My taste buds were ready for the Pulled Pork Panini. I guess they only offer them on certain days. Even though Sunday I was told was Hidden Valley's busiest day.So I tried there game burger of the day which was the Elk burger. For cheese they only offer American cheese. No Provelone, Swiss or Pepper Jack cheese. So I got it with no cheese. The Elk burger was very good and I do recommend it. It came with a good serving size of fresh fries. To my knowledge this was my first wild game burger. It Costed almost $17.00. If givin the chance I would eat another Wild Game Burger again. Also good to know water is about $3.00 and there is no water fountain or refillable water bottle station anywhere in Trailside Grill or Hidden Valley. You can also get Ice Cream here to. If you did not pack a lunch and do not mind spending the money I would recommend the Trailside Grill!
Kid-friendliness: They have chicken tenders, cheese burgers. And ice Cream.

Food is great and fast, staff very nice and quick, very comfortable place to eat or have a drink. Will definitely be going back.
Chicken fingers were more like nuggets, fries were slamming though. We also went for ice cream on this 90 degree day. Fountain ice tea definitely hit the spot.
