I tried once again , been going to take a Break since the 80s when Pete owned it .. I just cant understand how the place is still in business ..Owner is extremely rude .. simply asked if we could change “substitute an item” , waitress nicely said No , however she was irritated that we were ordering to go, owner had to chime in about the frozen shrimp being prepackaged and other people wont want just half ….she was once again rude ..every time I've gone since she bought the place shes complaining about a customer or a waitress … we walked out and went to aPetes, I mentioned to the waitress we just left next door , she laughed and said “that happens a lot, people complain about the owner .. there is a reason the place is always dead ..

My husband went into the restaurant with a friend and they had to ask for service all they would serve them was coffee wouldn’t even take their order so they paid for their coffee and left. This is very unprofessional. And should I mention they had one other table they were serving and served only them.

The service here could be better. The waitress as I sat down, told her I was getting a to-go meal, and she just grabbed the menu right out of my hand.
The food was prepared rather quickly and was alright BUT the customer service could be better.
Update: Food is garbage , egg sandwich made in under 6 minutes.

I had to send spinach and feta quiche back … it was old and dead. A friend ate the veggie quiche then got sick a half hour later. The Ruben was lifeless and tasteless as well. Beware - this place has really gone downhill. The decor is also very old and tired.

Been here several times and each time, there’s been someone loudly discussing politics, which is weird and it puts me off to going there. I realize they can’t control that, but it’s weird that it’s happened multiple times. The breakfast is usually good, but I got a piece of cake to go once, which was STALE and there’s no way the guy who cut my cake didn’t realize it. Paid $7 just to end up trashing it. Tables/booths are a little broken down and unstable. Prices are great, though.

Food was surprisingly really good..I'm kinda partial so that was great.(We got breakfast ) The service was fantastic. The building could use some love. But overall 4.5. We love Carrisa!!
