This is the best place for a submarine sandwich. I use Aliel's Sub Shop as the standard for all subs.
I love the cappicola and regular turkey, one layered over the other with provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions, and mayo, with sweet peppers on a toasted bun.
This is the best sub, in my opinion.

You’ll never find a better Tuna sub. Customer service is top notch (if you ignore the kid at the cash register), always perfect.

Today we picked up 4 jumbo sub platters for a funeral from the Amiel’s in Victor! Thank you so much! They were delicious as always. We are very thankful for taking such great care with our order!

Friendly staff, top notch sub\hoagie buns! Only downside, in my opinion is topping selection. Could add some more options with cheese, veggies, and dressings.

I know they say people only take the time to leave negative comments, but Amiel’s did have a few good food items too.
My husband and I were on a road trip and stopped June 22, 2024.
Knowing this restaurant has been in this area for a long time, we wanted to try it.
We waited in line behind another couple, until they were helped by a gentleman making their subs.
A woman then yelled, ‘Next!’ So we walked over to het spot. She couldn’t have been more unfriendly.
I mean, I understand you just want to make the subs and move on, but she seemed purposely unfriendly! She barely grunted when we asked any questions about our subs. (and we only ordered two basic subs.)
We didn’t have any odd requests, we tried being friendly regardless, thinking maybe her day has been long. We felt terrible for ordering! It was like we were bothering her.
Besides the couple ahead of us and a few people at tables, it didn’t seem busy. We didn’t complain though, because it could have been swamped prior to us being there. Who knows.
We also bought soup, potato salads, drinks and cookies. We were happy to try it all.
And the young girl who cashed us out was friendly and pleasant.
Well, the soup (lobster bisque) was an A+, So good!! The potato salad and cookies were also awesome! *Cookies 10 out of 10!!! I’d go again, just to buy those! Really good!
But, the subs, ugh! Honestly, the worst subs we have ever had! Again, they were basic..
1. Ham/turkey with lettuce, mayo, light onion and swiss cheese.
2. Roast beef with lettuce, mayo and provolone cheese.
Both subs were so sparse of meat, when you’d take a bite, you could barely see any!
My husband can’t have onions, yet she put onions on both. They were piled on so heavy, it was like eating an onion sub! And the one that was supposed to have onion, it was supposed to be light. Both had white American cheese (even though she asked us what kind of cheese we wanted) and hardly a swipe of mayo.
It feels as if she made them wrong on purpose??
It was as if she didn’t care, on purpose.
Also, a dumb extra, but they weren’t cut through all the way either, so we had to pull them apart, onion fell out into the car, so all we could smell was onion all day! Again, dumb extra, but still annoying! I think that and having to pick off all the rest of the onions were the most annoying. Oh and being just too dry and tasteless to eat.
I am sorry to leave the negatives as to our experience, we really wanted to like them, but I just can’t say enough of how disappointed we were with the service and these subs. (however, the sub bread was good) And we bought the jumbos to have for leftovers. We ended up throwing them away.
Again, I know people tend to leave negative comments but it wasn't all bad.
If we were to go again and the same person was to make our subs, we’d just leave.

5/2/24: I ate their very good macaroni salad. Their chicken ? parm. sandwich ? was fine, but there are better sub. shops for my tastes. The male worker around 4 pm. was very nice.
