Rainbow Wok is our favorite Chinese restaurant in the Victor, NY area. Though the food is pure Americanized-Chinese food as are most Chinese restaurants in the US outside of large cities, other qualities make the restaurant shine. For one, the lady owner is super-friendly and helpful, bringing plates and utensils over for multiple family members when we eat in. I've been going here for almost 15 years. It's my favorite Americanized Chinese take-out joint. Nothing is too sweet, the rice is fresh, and the service is very fast.I will drive 15mins out of my way to stop at Rainbow Wok even though there are a lot of closer take-out places to me.

I went there since I was cold and wanted some soup to warm up. The woman who greeted me was very nice. I got the wonton soup and was very happy with it. I loved the flavor and have to say it was one of me, if not my most favorite wonton soups I have tried recently. I would have liked more filling in the wonton but still very happy with it. I would order it again.It was so good that, but the time I realized I should take a photo it was almost done.
