Spent the night in Victor and this place was recommended to me. Went 2/7/23. Ordered take out meal which was Ribeye steak, mashed potatoes and Brussel sprouts. The steak was huge..it absolutely lacked flavor. The entire meal had water in the take out container which I believe from undrained Brussel sprouts. Took a few bits...was going to return the entire meal and then said the heck with it. Tossed the meal and went to Moe's and had a most excellent dinner. Would not go back here and do not recommend. Feel like I got a "garbage plate"

Went over to the tavern to watch the Bills game. Staff was very good, good selection of beverages and a good menu.

Pros: The service staff were very friendly. Loved their tomato Gouda bisque. The onions rings were just right. Not too oily like most places. Typical sports pub with TVs everywhere and rightly placed, so that you won't have anything blocking your view. The place was packed on a weekday night. I would suggest to reserve before showing up. Cons: The rajun cajun sandwich and the fried chicken sandwich were very basic. It was something one could easily make it themselves. Also, under seasoned.

I had a fried chicken sandwich and onion rings. There was one chicken finger on a huge bun. The coating was so slimy it slid off and the chicken finger ended up on my plate. It was so disgusting! My onion rings were burnt offerings I couldn't eat them. This plate of garbage was 17.50. The meat pizza was so soggy the toppings slid off there was nothing but a soggy crust dangling. I don't think this place deserves a one rating.

If I could give less than one star I absolutely would. This was close to our hotel, therefore the most logical option to take the kids to after a long day. We had not a problem waiting the 45 minutes for a table on a wedsday night and just sat at our hotel lobby for the wait. Once we were seated the true joy began. Our waitress didn't even approach our table of two adults and a young 1.5 year old and 6 year old until after 25 minutes of being seated. I'm all for needing a break but 25 minutes of nothing and our table is approached by a woman smelling of a freshly smoked Seneca, cool, strike one on the long wait. After ordering our drinks and food it was an additional twenty minutes until the waitress could finally bring 2 out of the 4 drinks ordered, only the adult beverages came. While looking out for our waitress an additional 15 minutesGo by and someone from the kitchen brings our food out, which was so incredibly dry I'm pretty sure the heat lamp took what would have been the Alfredo sauce and somehow dissipated it into the air because when it came to me it was nonexistent. However luckily I had 4 dried up tomato half's to really moisturize the dish. After then finding an additional waitress, because well who knows where ours was, we were finally able to get the kids their drinks. You would think, what could possibly make this experience better am I right? I got to wait an additional 15 minutes after receiving the bill just to be able to pay what was owed because our waitress finally came back around and grabbed it I'm sure after another elongated smoke break. Do yourself a favor, go anywhere else.

Went on a Tuesday night. Waited over an hour and still no food. Management running around with no clue what's going on. Other patrons complaining. So dis-oriented. I would stay away at all costs until they get themselves back on track.

Food is outstanding. Bar tenders are well trained and love the happy hour. Wood fired pizzas are great. Drinks are large. Decor is modern and it has tons of sports on TVs that surround the place.

Stopped for lunch on a Saturday, not very busy. Service was good. The Mac and cheese and the pizza off the kids menu were well received, large portions. Both came with large order of fries which were very good and enjoyed by the whole table.Ordered the wings crispy, and they were excellent. The pretzels with queso cheese were also good

Great atmosphere, good food, a little pricey. Daily deals. Pretzel sticks were delicious and fresh. Would recommend

I ate dinner at City Tavern with a friend while on a lengthy bus trip to the East Coast. The food and service was exceptional! The next day when I realized I had left my credit card there, I called and arrangements were made to have it returned. This is customer service above and beyond!

I ate at this restaurant on the way to Cape Cod on a lengthy bus trip. The service was great and the food was excellent. The server was friendly and helpful and the place was clean with nice ambience. The next day at lunch in another state, I realized that I had left my credit card at City Tavern. I called and talked with Libby and Dan the manager, Dan and were very helpful and security-minded. I got my credit card back! This is customer service above and beyond!

Had a family group of 10 with baby, 2 toddlers, 2 teens. Good kids and adult menu made it great for everyone. Jordan served us and was spot on attentive and accommodating. Birthday sparkler ending was great!

What happened here? Last time we were at City, a couple of years ago, it was a cool place with good food. Tonight there were 3 of us, and it took a long time to get drinks and order. The waiter was a great guy and overwhelmed, but the worst part was food. NO pizza available and several items also were not available. Mediocre steak, Mac and cheese, Philly cheese steak, and poor blackened chicken on pasta. The table area was very run down as well with chipping paint on the wall, ripped up booth. We will NOT return.Prices way too high. 50 for a mediocre steak!

Zero star due to service....actually lack thereof. The food was GOOD...we had a pizza. However, our waitress NEVER checked on us. Did not offer us another drink when she took out empties away. And when setting the bill down. "There is that". NEVER asked how our meal was or anything, NEVER offered another drink. WORST SERVICE EVER!

Had dinner here with a large group of people, the atmosphere is great casual but super nice, fireplaces but also tvs perfect for a casual sit down dinner. We had wings and pretzels for appetizers, the wings were good and sauce was good. The pretzels were decent but came with a odd sauce that didn't taste very good. I had the French dip it was good the meat was good, so was the bread but there was a lot of bread for the amount of meat. Portion wasn't huge. Fires were good and everyone was pleased with there dishes. Would recommend.
