I'll give two premises for this review. One I'd spent a couple of hours at the mall before dining at this p.f Chang's and that does not put me in a good mood admittedly. Two, I've been going to PF Chang's for around 15 to 20 years. My first visits were to a location in Virginia, I'm sorry I don't remember where It was somewhat near Fairfax I think.
Once upon a Time they were fantastic! It was like upgraded takeout food and a nicer setting. Today not so much.
We had reservations for 5:30 and we were all there on time although we did have to wait but it was only about 15 minutes. Several of us had to use the bathroom during the visit and all commented on how disgustingly dirty they were and not just dirty but like run down like the locks didn't lock, paint is chipped and the last paint job was poorly done. Just relatively low level complicated stuff but it adds up.
So our server was very nice even if she was not very skilled. She took our drink orders and then our food orders in a fairly decent time probably within 15 minutes she had done both and delivered our drinks.
This is where the problems began as my wife and I had ordered the three course meal for two which includes soup or salad an appetizer and then two entrees. Pri ewise it ended up coming to about $55 as we chose a few of the more premium options which there was an up charge for. The other three people at the party just ordered regular entrees. It took about 50 minutes for our food to start coming out and It only happened once I had to flag down our waitress and asked for an update on why we hadn't got anything yet.
Having been a server myself I highly suspect she had forgotten to submit or didn't fully submit in their system our order. The next sad thing was they started with the appetizer instead of the soup and salad which was weird. They brought the soup and salad moments later. So it wasn't properly paced.
The chicken wraps are maybe half chicken half water chestnut which sucks cuz that wasn't how it was years ago. They no longer make the sauce at your table which is fine though it was appreciated when they did it. The Mongolian beef was good but the steak was decidedly thinner and not as good of a cut as I recall from years ago. Lastly and I always forget this as we don't regularly to PF Chang's they seem to have the same sauce for their honey chicken as their orange chicken as the honey chicken always comes with a very distinctive orange taste. I've had honey chicken and it tastes significantly different than orange chicken but it being a chain restaurant I believe they just use the same sauce for both, so that was a disappointment. I always get excited to see honey chicken on their menu and then once it comes and it tastes like orange chicken my memory clicks and I'm like oh fuck yeah I forgot The PF Chang's uses the same sauce.
We were at the mall today celebrating my daughter's fourth birthday doing Build-A-Bear in Lego store stuff like that and so they did bring her a free dessert which was very considerate and appreciated it even had a crazy firework sparkler thing in it and she loved it.
When the bill came I opened it up to see that not only have they charged us for the complimentary dessert they had charged us full price for everything in the three course meal. They had overcharged us by around $50 and I had to flag down the waitress again and break this all down again and my suspicious nature tells me it was done intentionally to garner a larger tip. Now that is not proven in any way shape or form and maybe she just makes a lot of mistakes?
Eventually it was cleared up and the bill was paid and we left all in all We were there for two and a half hours!
PF Chang's you were once great and I still love your giant horses but my gosh man how far are you have fallen.

The Mongolian Beef was overcooked, hard, like jerky. They did bring out another dish which was better however, my companions were almost done eating by the time I got it. The food was delicious other than the one dish. The fried green beans were amazing.
Parking: Weekday would probably be better because it was very busy at the mall and was very hard to find parking.

Went to PFChangs for lunch. We waited about 10 mins at the hostess station before even greeted. Probably should have left at that point. We were seated and then waited at least 15 before a waitress came to our table. She was less than friendly and that’s being generous. Ordered drinks and food at the same time. We ordered crab wontons- bad but at least edible , soup my husband got egg drop and I got sweet and sour. Both completely inedible. I got a spicy chicken rice bowl and my husband got a shrimp rice bowl. Neither of us could eat any of our lunch. It was TERRIBLE. The shrimp looked like it was cooked for about 3 days. The waitress came to ask if we were done. We asked for the check. We had a table full of food uneaten. She never asked if anything was wrong or if everything was ok. We paid our check and left a tip. (I can’t go to a restaurant and not leave a tip even though the service was less than ok) needless to say I would prefer frozen food from the grocery store. I will never go back. 60 dollars for bad service and horrible food. I think PFChangs has become an overpriced fast food tasting disgusting restaurant.

My husband and I decided to treat ourselves to a lunch date and decide we haven't been to a P. F. Chang's in a while so why not? ... We were sat at a table while everyone else was in a booth. It wasn't busy, there were probably 5 other booths that were occupied, and we got sat in front of an occupied booth. There were other tables that were in front of unoccupied booths, but that's fine, I'll just eavesdrop on the people behind me and it's probably how the seating order goes. Our waiter comes by and takes our drink order and we get the unlimited refill specials. Never got refills. Ordered the lunch specials, I got the sweet and sour and there was no sour. The sweet and sour soup was great. Our waiter came over to check on us 3 times. But the people behind us, constantly checking on them, asking if they need anything, refilling their drinks, getting them to-go boxes, great customer service for them and we got the scraps. Had to ask for our check, to-go box, and asked for a to-go refill drink. Not going here again.

My husband and I ordered takeout today and not only did we have to go back in to get the extra sauce on side we paid for but didn't realize until too late that we didn't get any silverware or napkins. Food is always delicious but that part was a bit annoying I gotta say.

I enjoyed everything about the place. The service was excellent and enjoyed the food.
I always loved PFChangs but I have changed my mind. On my last visit there n December the food was not good and the service wasn’t much better. We were a party of 9 and my food came out hard and lukewarm. I had the Kung pau chicken. Had to send it back and the second one want much better. The fried rice was tasteless. Very disappointing. Our check was over $300 and unfortunately not worth it. Rochester New York, Eastview Mall
We used to come here all of the time about 5 years ago, decided to go and it was very disappointing. The tables were in terrible shape, they were peeling and just overall ugly. I had the lomein, the veggies were raw not cooked at all and it all sat in a large puddle of sauce. It was very gross to be honest. The portions are much smaller than they used to be, we could have dinner and have leftovers for lunch the next day, the prices have also really inflated. I'm still trying to understand why people are spending their money here, I will not visit PF Chang's anymore

My food was fine but my friends food, it was like eating chicken dipped in salt. They replaced her meal at no cost (the server was understanding and amazing). She took the replacement to go because she felt sick after eating a few pieced of the first dish with all that salt. She ate the second one at home and threw up. My food was fine and i ordered tofu. Seems like their chicken had gone bad.

Ok for a chain restaurant but I would prefer a small family run restaurant.

This place use to be great, but the quality of food has gone way down prices have gone way up, and portions have been shrunk even the kitchen is now blocked form your view which makes seem like they are cutting corners amd don't want to be seen where as before everything was fresh prepared amd you could watch your meal being prepared

POISON. Greasy and bland. It tastes like they season the food with the same kind of salt that you put on an icy driveway. It literally made me sick to my stomach. It’s such a shame, because the staff is wonderful and they deserve better.

Food wasn't all that great. Their fried rice isn't really fried rice and pre-made (server told us). Portions were small for a larger price. Soup wasn't hot, got served the wrong chicken. Ordered a smoked alcoholic beverage and they tried to serve it without the smoke, appeared the bartender just didn't want to do it. Definitely not worth the price.
