Pazzo Ristorante and Wood Fired Pizzeria

Beautifully decorated pizzeria, with some great pizza. Much better than most long island pizzerias, closer to a Brooklyn pizzeria if anything.

These guys have the best pizza in the world. Especially the Margarita wood fired pizza. It's out of this world and it's real pizza. Not fake pizza, the other day on Friday. I got the veal parmesan hero. And the chicken parmesan hero and ask them to put it in the wood-fired oven, it was totally amazing.

Best pizza around but as a local you will come to understand that the service here is slow. Once you understand that you can plan around it and it is worth the wait. Don't think you're going to come here and get a quick pie, it's not happening. Pazzo means crazy in Italian which should give you a hint that this place is full of characters. Trust me, it'll be worth your time.

PS They make a Chicago style deep dish pie, which is excellent.

Was so broken hearted to loose beautiful Maria and now Dean is gone. He was the friendliest and such a warm hearted person to ever welcome us to a restaurant. The place will never be the same

Why doesn’t a pizza place actually deliver pizza?

I called to place an order for pizza on a busy night (Halloween - first mistake). They told me delivery orders are placed via their website. I then went to the website, placed an order and mistakenly hit “pick-up” instead of “delivery”. I called up Pazzo and they explained they will refund the order, it’s not a problem, but I have to go back online and place the order again. At this point, it still wasn’t clicking with me that they use i.e. DoorDash for delivery. I just assumed they deliver but took the orders online.

Shortly after, I received a link via text, to track the order. The time however kept getting pushed back. It appeared the driver had to wait there for 10 minutes (he texted me) for the pizza and then it took 40 minutes to get to my house. I’m exactly 10 minutes away… I’m assuming these DoorDash guys make other stops along the way.

The staff from Pazzo when I spoke to them on the phone were so nice and helpful! My issue with Pazzo is how they use a delivery service to deliver pizza 🙄. Isn’t that what pizza shops do? Deliver pizza? So, instead of ordering a pizza and tipping the driver, I now have to pay some DoorDash fee along with it and received a late, cold, hard pizza.

I wouldn’t suggest ordering delivery from here.

My husband and I went to Pazzo Pizza on Friday and it was fantastic – both food and service! When we went, the restaurant section was closed but staff offered to seat us there if we wanted … which was super nice of them. We sat in their to-go service area and, although small, it was perfect and staff even brought us an extra side table for all the pizza we ordered lol. Speaking of which, omg, the pizza was sooo melt-in-your-mouth yummy. I got the wood fired vodka sauce margarita and my husband got the wood fired vegan veggie (which we were so grateful that they even had and he said was the best vegan pizza he’s had yet). I also had to try their Brooklyn style sicillian with a sweater red sauce and that was fantastic. Will definitely be back!

We were there tues 10/7/25. This was our second time at Pazzo with four other friends & the food was absolutely delicious. Plus the atmosphere was great & quiet you could actually have a conversation. Definitely a hidden gem.

One of the best pizza places on the east end. Never had an issue with the pie's or service. Sure, once or twice it's taken a little longer but I've never waited very long. The owner did sadly pass away recently so that may be the cause of recent issues for some.
