We are never disappointed at Daxxon. This family run restaurant has not allowed the quality of their food to deteriorate in spite of the years of covid and price increases. We usually go for the lunch or combo special and are always full and satisfied with their tasty (not watered down) wonton soup, an egg roll, the entree, and the hearty Oolong tea; in severe contrast to many buffets where, after consuming several plates of food, we'd leave unsatisfied. The staff is well trained and proficient, friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this restauran Please help keep this "rock" of good food in Walden.

The food was really good. Until I found piece a shard of aluminum in the food. That is dangerous.

Recommendations can be iffy. We haven’t had Chinese food in a long time and we opted to try this place. What a pleasant experience. They were busy, though not crowded. Seated promptly in an inviting and warm atmosphere. Server appeared quickly and our meals arrived very soon. Hot and well prepared and appetizing.Thank you for a nice dinner.

Above average Chinese in a sit down setting that doesn't smell like hot oil and have children doing hw in the back table. Service was professional and swift. They do a big takeout business, but it does not interfere with the restaurant side. We got shrimp Mai fun (wide rice noodles) General Tso, and Twice cooked pork. The pork was the hit of the table having some spicy elements. All of us cleaned our plates. $50 before tip. No appetizer or drinks. (They didn't charge for the hot tea - only the iced one)

We've been using Daxxon as our go to Chinese restaurant for more than 25 years now. Unfortunately ever since the original owners sold it, it has been going downhill. Tonight was the last time we'll go there. Ordered Sesame chicken, fried rice. The rice was dry, the egg roll must have been made days ago, and the sesame chicken tasted like the sauce had been scaled so bad it had a burnt popcorn taste to it. Really inedible. And really a shame.

Not what once was , I never discriminate over one bad meal , but ordered beef sticks , one was 3 inches long , and the others were not much larger. . And beef fried rice had like 4 pieces of beef. Prices go up, but quality goes down.

Great customer service and food! I highly recommend their Thai options. We tried the basil fried rice, panang curry, and pad Thai. All were delicious!

Tonight this restaurant officially lost me as a customer. It’s unfortunate, because I truly prefer their food over that of other restaurants in the area. They also have numerous vegetarian and vegan options that are really good. I won’t give them a 1 star rating just because I’m angry, that would be unfair, and I won’t stoop so low as to treat them the way they treated me. This evening my boyfriend placed an order by phone. I went to pick it up on my way home from work. I get home and find that the egg foo young combo is missing the egg roll and sauce. Everything else in our order was perfect. I called the restaurant to let them know about the error, and to make them aware I would go back to get these things. I live 6 minutes away, it’s not a big deal and if you’ve ever tried to eat egg foo young without the sauce, you know it’s quite plain. I didn’t get far on the phone, the very nice girl told me she had to ask her boss, she explained she is young and needed permission to correct mistakes. I understood and told her I’d just head over. I get there and explain to the woman behind the counter what I had told the girl on the phone, that we were missing these 2 items. She starts talking to the woman who packed our order. This woman swore that she put the sauce with our order. I said it was not there. They went to the kitchen, grabbed the egg foo young sauce and held it up and asked me if I was sure, and said this is what it looked like. This is what upset me. They continued to grill me over whether or not the sauce and egg roll were there, they repeated that it should be there. Eventually they handed me the two items and I left, making sure to tell them they lost my business. No apology, and they were smiling and laughing as I walked out the door. I called the restaurant again when I got home and asked when the owner would be in. I felt terrible that this was how I had left off with a family owned business, I hoped to resolve things. I make a point of working for family owned businesses myself, and it takes a toll when people leave as unhappy as I did. I was then informed over the phone that the woman I spoke to at the restaurant was the owner. If this is how the owner of this establishment does business, I no longer feel bad about this review. Their food is great, but their customer service tonight was disgraceful. We ordered $100.00 worth of food to be treated like criminals over egg foo young sauce and an egg roll. No thank you.Vegetarian options: They have a lot of options and they’re mostly really good. The veggie dumplings taste like chlorine sometimes.
