My wife and I moved to Walden from long island ny. After searching high and low for good Chinese food, to no avail, we were gonna chalk it up that there's no good Chinese food up here. Then we tried this little place in Walden village, Ming Jie's house. So far, everything we've tried from them is excellent! Not only that but they're polite, they deliver, they never screwed up our order and if you go to pick up, they're not cheap with their condiments and fortune cookies. They leave them out for you to take whatever you need. I highly recommend this place. By the way, you can dine in. They have a small dining room..... not the prettiest. There's a wall that looks unfinished from when they had to make provisions during the pandemic, and they never took it down. Also, they serve you with paper plates and plastic utensils...... weird but who cares, their food is very good! And when you special order, they do it.

I ordered the shrimp egg roll, shrimp Fried rice with egg, and shrimp wontons - steamed. Unfortunately, all was pretty bland. If you want better food with flavor, go to Daxxons.
Tried this restaurant a few times for take out. Very inconsistent in my opinion. I would rate the food as average and that’s being generous. I definitely will not spend anymore money at this establishment.

We recently ordered from Ming Jie's House and were very satisfied. The General Tsao and sweet and sour platters were delicious, and the crab rangoons hit the mark. The ordering and pickup were smooth, with polite staff and a clean interior. The only slight drawback was the chicken dumplings, which were a bit too doughy. But everything else was excellent, making Ming Jie's House a place we'll return to for more tasty Chinese food.

The dining room is nice,not like a real romantic atmosphere more for just eating , & lots of places to sit.The food is the best we’ve had , switched from another place after being disappointed so much, glad we came here & will from now on. The parking is street but there is usually an empty spot . I ordered a variety for Father’s Day dinner & our family could see the difference- fresh, colorful, yummy,not skimpy. Shrimp, boneless ribs, chicken & cashew nuts, PuPu platter, ALL the takeout was EXCELLENT. The lady at the counter who rang us up was so sweet!! We will be back and happy this place cares about what they put into the meals that they serve!!

Ordered again because we had company & they said was one of the best they've had , vegetarian options for our vegetarian and she loved the vegetable lo mein & tofu soup , wveythimg was excellent with big portions, such a friendly hostess too ..we are all stuffed !!
