Sweeney's is an Irish bar that is old school cool. This is the place to go if you want some good food (Guinness stew is delicious), awesome drinks, and amazing staff, then come to this joint in Walden, NY. It's a hometown bar with a hometown feel and is definitely worth the whiskey ?

Why have I not stopped here before? I'm today years old, lol. Our new go-to place. Food is delish, service impeccable as well as friendly. Yesterday a group of met there for lunch having made reservations well ahead of time. The food was great, but we waited an hour and a half for it. People who arrived after us had ordered, eaten, and left. Sad.

Wow! Wow! My husband loved Extra crispy wings delicious lemon pepper. Popcorn shrimp oh delicious. Just met the owners. So so sweet and u can tell they care. Made u feel at home. I’m not from Orange County. They definitely made u feel like family. Bartender sweet and on point. I recommend this place ???Parking: It’s all good

I've been many times before, and I highly recommend Irish food, but today I went with a bbq burger instead. I asked for medium rare, and it was brought out cooked perfectly to it. It was a big burger, and the onion rings were also a nice portion size, cooked nice and crispy. The waitress was very attentive and was fun to talk to.

This is a nice Irish place. The service was standardly good, and the place looks well maintained. The food was not the best, but it might just be my selection. My wife's meal was definitely better than mine. I will give it another try in the future.
