As I sit here with my family, I’m realizing this is the best Mexican restaurant in ALL of the Hudson valley. Probably the closest to the Mexican food you would get in California and you can get here in NY! I’ve been everywhere and this place is unlike all the others. Even beats the Mexican food in Rockland county, where I work.

We came on a Monday night. Boyfriend got #40 combo which was a burrito & flauta combo with rice and beans. I got the ground beef enchiladas with rice and beans.
We started off with complimentary warm chips and salsa - never a bad thing. We were also given a small cheese quesadilla each. I don’t know if that’s the norm but it was a pleasant surprise.
The food was amazing. Coming from LA, I’ve eaten my fair share of Mexican food and this place did not disappoint. The refried beans were creamy and cheesy and flavorful. The rice was perfectly cooked. The enchiladas were drowned in sauce and cheese. I mean, you really can’t go wrong! I usually am not a big enchiladas fan but the pictures convinced me to get it and I’m so glad I did. BF liked his food too. He said he’d come back.
Not only was the food delicious but the service was impeccable! There’s a lone server who took care of our every needs from beginning to end. He was very friendly and attentive. Good service just added to our great experience here.

Zona Rosa is THE place to go!! Eduardo, the owner, is such a sweetheart and takes very good care of his clientele. The food is delicious, with plenty of options, and lots of homemade dishes as well!! Portion sizes are perfect, with almost always something to take home for leftovers. The margaritas are nothing like you’ve ever tried before, with Eduardo’s generous pours and homemade margarita mix. I’d recommend the steak, rice and beans to anyone. Also, their Flautas are to die for!!

My husband and I got take out from here last night and the food was amazing. We had ordered food for 6 people and when we went to pick our order up thr owner gave us free drinks while we waited. The owner was nice and welcoming. Next time we are visiting the area we will absolutely be back.
