As I sit here with my family, I’m realizing this is the best Mexican restaurant in ALL of the Hudson valley. Probably the closest to the Mexican food you would get in California and you can get here in NY! I’ve been everywhere and this place is unlike all the others. Even beats the Mexican food in Rockland county, where I work.
We came on a Monday night. Boyfriend got #40 combo which was a burrito & flauta combo with rice and beans. I got the ground beef enchiladas with rice and beans.
We started off with complimentary warm chips and salsa - never a bad thing. We were also given a small cheese quesadilla each. I don’t know if that’s the norm but it was a pleasant surprise.

Zona Rosa is THE place to go!! Eduardo, the owner, is such a sweetheart and takes very good care of his clientele. The food is delicious, with plenty of options, and lots of homemade dishes as well!! Portion sizes are perfect, with almost always something to take home for leftovers. The margaritas are nothing like you’ve ever tried before, with Eduardo’s generous pours and homemade margarita mix.
