Classic diner. Friendly, homey atmosphere; the extreme opposite of pretentious. The food is exactly as to be expected in a classic diner; however the pancakes were out of this world. And the price is from a bygone era.
I brought my boys in tonight because we had no power due to the storm and Knotty Pine happened to still be up and running. Well I guess everyone had the same idea and before I knew it, the place was mobbed. Those girls and boys working that restaurant went above and beyond! They handled the craziness with a smile and grace. Our food came out delicious and hot. I hope the owners appreciate the amazing team they have there at this establishment! Thanks again!!

But after all the downtime and renovation not much changed. The metal wall coverings seem cold and industrial looking. So for atmosphere I have to give
a 3. It's not as warm and cozy as it felt before.
Parking: Plenty of spaces close to the building and a larger lot to the side for bigger trucks
